I am due to O sometime in the next few days. I was just checking my cervix (which was quite soft and open), and I found bloody EWCM. Does this mean I'm ovulating right now or that I'm about to? I had a -opk twice yesterday and again just now. I haven't had my regular o pains (though I did have some cramps). I've never bled when I o before and am a little confused...

Have you been checking your cervix a lot? Perhaps you've irritated it or caught yourself with your nail somewhere? I think ovulation spotting usually means you've already ovulated which doesn't fit with you getting -OPKs and not having your usual pains. Odd!

When ar you back? Can you dtd tonight? I personally would not use the rephresh again just before but that would mean it won't maintain a low ph, that wouldn't bother me next time though.

We leave tomorrow morning. We dtd in the wee hours of the morning, about 2 hours before I found the blood - maybe it was from that. Opks are still completely negative - no line at all. I decided to use rephresh because my feeling is that I'm not oing - cervix is still soft and open, and there's lots of EWCM, but I normally have both starting a day or two before o.

Mocha, wanted to let you know that 3-7 days before O this last time, I spotted 4 days...just a tiny bit of blood. I normally never spot however I am checking my cm regularly now and so it could be that I missed it in the past or that I've been checking it so much that it irritated the cervix. I'm not on any blood thinners and have cut waaaaaay back on my cran juice so for me it was probably one of those two things (I guess...
). Nothing w/my body is surprising me anymore since everything is always so unpredictable now. Hoping you're had an "adventurous" time at the cottage, lol...

Thanks, ladies. Cd12 today, and I'm pretty sure I haven't o'd yet. Cervix is still wide open, and cm keeps changing from watery to sticky to creamy to EWCM...my body's having fun trying to confuse me. No more spotting, though. this morning was Meg, and I haven't had another chance to test because I'm on the road right now. Dh and I didn't manage to dtd last night, and he didn't release either. Now I need to try to convince him to release before dtd when we've been driving for 10 hours and he's already tired from releasing every day for 11 days....

Don't forget you can always dump the first batch and use the second on the day of your attempt if your frequent BD doesn't work out.
