My friend has just had her little girl, just got the text with picture and she's gorgeous. I'm thrilled for them but can't help but feel so down that I might never have a daughter myself. Why does it hurt so much when someone gets what you want :-( I just want to feel happy for them and nothing else! I hate feeling this sad all the time...

Thanks Hun I really appreciate it. It just hurts so much right now, don't think I realised how bad I'd feel when she was born

got another friend's little girl due soon too. It's just so darn hard! Xx

Thank you honey, it makes me feel so much better to know that I'm not alone. The only person I can really talk to about all this IRL is DH and he doesn't understand completely, even though he wants a daughter too he doesn't feel as bad as I do about it all. It's just nice having somewhere I can come and vent
