Questions about Licorice root & OLE

I think my husband is going to take both.

I wanted to ask, why do these sway girl? Or why do we think they do?

Are they safe to take?

Will they lower my husbands fertility?

What's their role?

I need an essay on OLE, it seems relatively safe but I would def. have him wean off them.

I am not sure anyone knows how or why they work (if) and I just can't answer those questions. We would need blind side by side studies done in hundreds of people to really know if they work and even then we might not know how. All it is, is speculation and guesswork.

Thanks Atomic. When would you advise him to wean off OLE & how many months prior should he start taking them before ttc?

OLE - wean off after you get a BFP.

He should start taking them at least 6-8 weeks before.
