The summer group is pretty quiet and I just can't bring myself to try for a Feb. baby....so I'll be waiting until July to TTC
Anyone else???
On another note....I'm nursing my 11+ mos old and I just got my first PP cycleI'm very happy! I took vitex for 2 weeks after a spotting episode and voila! Period was here 3 weeks after stopping vitex! Yippee! I also tracked my cycle after coming off the vitex(using opk's and checking cervical position) and I definitely O'd for the first time since DS3 was born. I'm taking the vitex again now for another 2 weeks...hoping O will be delayed until CD21 again...just for ovulation timing- I'm wanting to O around the middle of July just because of April due date timing. Call me corny but I really want an April baby. Anyway, diet starts today. I'm approx 6 weeks away from O day in July so I figured now is a good time. I'm also starting my exercise regimen as well.
hope to see some others here!

Me - eeek! I took my first Vitex last night, am having my Mirena removed on Wednesday and will start my diet and exercise on Tuesday (after our bank holiday weekend!). It feels strange to actually be doing something instead of just reading about it
That's great that Vitex seems to have helped you. I'm also BFing but my DS is 18 months old and only tends to have a feed before bed in the evening now.

YAY me too!! Love that you started the thread, now it really starts!
Good to hear Vitex helped to make your cycle return.
I really would like an april baby too, thatīs why weīre waiting, my two boys were born in January and November, donīt want anymore winter birthdays!!
I already did the diet for about 4 weeks and have been very good (compared to what I used to eat..). Last weekend we went to Italy to my inlaws and Iīve eaten a lot and enjoyed it, now Iīm trying to get back on, with headache for the salt abstinance.
If the saw palmetto doesnīt delay things, Iīll probably O about in 6 weeks from today too, Iīm soooo excited!

Oh good jjc, you reminded me about the fitness dance DVD I ordered and didnīt start yet..
I also feel cardio could make a big difference for me since I hate running and never did cardio before getting pregnant with my boys or ever really.
It will be hard to do it everyday but I have to try.

Me!!!! I have sorta of started the diet. I have dropped breakfast, I am drinking peppermint tea, no red meat, very low salt intake, and diet drinks. I just have a really hard time doing the strict diet. I am sort of a foodie and love eating healthy foods, so going on the girl diet really freaks me out.
I am taking my supplements, vitex, saw palmetto, calcium, folic acid, and will start cranberry next month. I know something is definitely changing because I have NO sex drive and I used to be very friskyI only had 1 day of EWCM, and I am definitely calmer.
I started at a gym, but I can't get there every day because of babysitter issues, but I go on walks daily and I bought a trion z bracelet. I really hope the walking works because running really kills my legs.
I am down 8 lbs and I hope to lose another 5 before July. I can't lose too much because I am very small.
I am going on vacation in June and I was going to hold off on TTC until August, but the more I thought about it the more I realized that there will always be something to hold me back from TTC. I can't live in a bubble all summer. I want to take my DS swimming and do fun things with him.

I agree, itīs the same for me, as Atomic says, the sway has to fit in your life and not your life in the sway!
I also had very little EWCM last month when I was doing the diet, but this month I took saw palmetto and I had a lot again for 4-5 days! I will take an antihistamine for this.

How have you all found Vitex has affected you? I have a Mirena IUD (which I'm having out next week!) and have had 'periods' despite the Mirena for the past few months ... or so I thought. I started taking Vitex 2 days ago on my first day of AF, which was very light and often nothing for hours on end. Today I'm reminded of what a 'proper' AF is like and I'm wondering if it can really be something the Vitex has caused, even after only a couple of days. I have terrible cramps and very heavy flow - thank goodness I'm not starting the diet until after the weekend because tonight I'll be eating Indian food and drinking wine to make myself feel better!

I will be joining you in July! I was considering June but fell off the diet while moving and eating out all the time. Also, April works better for our family. I just started spotting so AF should be here in a couple of days. As soon as I get AF, I will be back 100 percent on the diet. I am dreading it but I know I can do it. It is only for a short time and it will be worth it, right? I'm also still BFing my almost 2 yr old.

Hi Everyone I am joining you on the adventure of trying to concieve a girl in July! AF is due on the 3rd of June I started the diet just today!! I am taking Cranberry , Cal, Mag , Vitex, Saw Pal.... I also have about 6 to 8 tablets of equal a day which do not taste the best!!! My ph is between a 4 and 4.5. We will be trying for our girl around the 21 of july so i will have had roughly 7 weeks on the diet... Do you girls think that is long enough before trying?? Would be great if anyone wants to share their sways i can post mine if anyone would like to read it. We were thinking of trying at the end of the year but that was because i didnt have confidence with swaying but i think if i dont have it now i still wont by then as i have read SO much about swaying, just worried i will or have forgotten something. Anyway i look forward to being on this journey with you girls and good luck to everyone! Bring on the July or aug BFP'S
