. Hi ladies. I am new to all this. Never been in a forum before! I'm 38 with 2 fab boys and am ttc and would love to have a little girl to keep me company when daddy takes the boys footy! I'm eating lots of calcium and acidic foods and DDT 5 days away from ov&no O's! Any tips or advice please? I've been ttc for 5 month but think I'm DDT too far away I have a 26 day cycle. Thank you x

We do not advise "lots of calcium" for a girl sway. Too much calcium is a big reason people end up with a boy.
I would check out our Gender Swaying forum!

Welcome! Read up on the LE diet, it's quite different from traditional swaying pink diets, which your seem to be following. We do things quite differently here. Diet is the biggest and most important sway factor. Exercise (ideally 60+ min uninterrupted cardio exercise daily) is another strong sway factor. Third in the holy triad of swaying is just BD one time as soon as you get a positive OPK (1-2 days before O to optimize conception chances), or BDing every 4 days (such as CD6, CD10, CD14, CD16 etc). Timing does NOT sway, but rather how many attempts you have in your fertile period (the 3 days before O + O day itself). One attempt sways pink, multiple attempts sway blue.
There are other things you can add and DH can do, but they are minor compared to the triad above. Diet especially.
If you've been doing a cut off that may well explain why you haven't gotten pregnant yet, so I'd switch to one attempt at positive OPK if OPKs work for you - which they should if your cycles are regular.
My Ovulation Chart currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP
TTC #1- swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!
Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic
Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

Hi and welcome!
We don't always do things "The Old-School Way" with the calcium and acid stuff because newer research indicates that it doesn't work and some of it may even sway blue. Come join us in the TTC a girl forums and we can talk about why those things don't work for people.
DTD 5 days away from ovulation doesn't sway (timing has been totally debunked) and as you're finding out, is very very low odds of conception. http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gend...le-timing.html NO one should go on month after month getting BFN - our goal here is to get everyone pregnant within a few months with the best sway possible. So we focus on the stuff that really works and drop the old outdated tactics that do nothing other than preventing conception.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
