Thread: Dtd on O day?

    Dtd on O day?

If u dtd on o day is it more likely to sway blue as my plan says to dtd every 4 days but if my o day falls on dtd day is this okay? I've got the clear blue fert monitor so should be able to pin point o

With my last pregnancy I dtd on on o day & we have a boy so just wondered really.... Or should I just dtd when it says high fertility as opposed to peak fertility? So confused! X

If you dtd every 4 days and dtd occurs on O day you would more likely conceive from the bd 3 days before if that makes sense those are the spermies who would be there waiting.

Dtd once on O day doesn't really sway blue for what it's worth

    Good luck

The diet is everything that matters in my opinion. If I think better, I dtd every day but my husband released inside just once 4-5 days before...so if I take it this way, I had one try with 4 days before. Time does not sway.

Timing doesn't sway, so while BD falling on O day won't increase your odds of blue, it isn't as great odds of conception as if BD falls on O-1 or O-2. I believe even O-3 can have better odds than O day, depending on when exactly you O and BD.

Remember, it's not when you BD but HOW MUCH you BD that sways. Sticking to every 4 days gives you a great shot at pink.

    My Ovulation Chart
currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP

TTC #1 - swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!

Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic

Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

DTD on O day DOES NOT sway blue. It has been 110% debunked by the best technology available.

If you are concerned about it, then just DTD the first peak day. That is 1-1/2 days before O day.
