    Sugarless gum

I've just picked up the (probably bad) habit of chewing sugarless gum during work. I'm chewing 5 gum and the ingredient list includes Phenylketonurics: contains Phenylalanine. Is this aspartame? I'm going through about 7 pieces during a day at work. Is this good for a pink sway? Are there other gums that might be better? I heard that maybe gums that contain Xylitol might be better?

I think phenylalanine is aspartame and I'm sure it's fine (in fact encouraged) for a girl sway. I don't know about the xylitol - what is that?

I'm not really sure, its an ingredient that's in some gum but not all. I think icebreakers has it. From what I've read so far its supposed to be good for fighting cavities but I don't understand why it would be better for a girl sway ?? Tamara said she is a sugarfree gum addict and she had 2 girls.....I would love to do studies on all of these things...makes sense to me, in a way you are poisoning your body with fake sugars, right? Which is unhealthy and unhealthy = girls???

I can't quite bring myself to do the gum thing as I don't really like it - and it makes me hungry (which is probably why it's good!). It also doesn't go with the taste of Pepsi Max and I'm drinking gallons of that

Zan I LOVED Pepsi Max!!! Haven't had it in months due to the swaying and now I'm trying to stay off the artificial stuff entirely. But I think that stuff tastes delicious!

I would think the sugarless gum would be OK for a girl sway. I know I was a big fan of sugarless gum before swaying ... I chewed at least 2-3 pieces a day.

Begonia, did you conceive any children when chewing sugarless gum? Assuming you are ttc boy now due to the artificial stuff comment. Would love to know if you used to chew sugarless and conceived girls? thanks xx

Yes, I did! I have 2 little ladies. I ate loads of artificial (mostly gum and soda) sugar, but also loads of real sugar ... basically if it was sweet it was going in my mouth, LOL :-) Best wishes for you with your pink sway, sending you pink dust!

Sugar free gum is great for a pink sway. Phenylalanine is an ingredient in aspartame and when your body digests it, it is released. Some people genetically lack the enzymes they need to digest the Phenyl. and so they can't eat it.
