Magical, I just wanted to mention that 5 years ago I was in this situation - 5 grandsons (4 of which were mine) and only ONE granddaughter. Now we have 3 granddaughters (all 3 kids got one in the end) and still 5 grandsons! It can turn around just that quick!!!

I feel your pain my MIL is obsessed with my niece and nephew…she has their pics all over their house, as screen savers on her phone and always shares my SIL's pics of her kids. I hope this is a girl for myself…I have always dreamed of a girl to dress up, share experiences with and have a relationship like I have with my mom. It will be icing on the cake that my DD (fingers crossed) and my MIL will not be spending much time together.
