When others get your DG !

I have had two family members have baby boys in the last few months and now a third looks likely. I am so happy for them and loving these little boys coming into the family - the opportunity for baby blue shopping and all of that but it seems to beat me down a little each time.
Why do I automatically think that's my chance gone? I mean with all these boys there has to follow a girl and who will that be but me!

I'm losing faith in my ability to do this - help!!

I feel the same way!!! Just yesterday ANOTHER girl was born and I feel like my chances are lower than ever! It's totally unrealistic to have any belief that this is logical, but I still believe it!
I take comfort in knowing that sometimes "lots" of one gender come about. May your boy be amongst them[emoji4]

I have seen so many families/friends/workplaces with long runs of boys or girls born (even to people who are not genetically related) that I can say for sure that their results don't affect your chances!

The silly thing is that logically I totally know it doesn't go that way but emotionally I get so caught up in the thought process that I won't get my DG that it only happens for everyone else - I'm trying to focus my energy back into my sway and off the negative.
