Hi mommas well I am on CD4 AF is light but definitely AF but my temp has not dropped below cover line. It is still quite high.
I have a congested head cold which is getting better and I suspect a sinus infection which my body can fight without antibiotics - would this keep my temp elevated?
Thanks.

Yes it can raise your temps, plus it's not unheard of to have higher than normal temps duing and just after AF.
Hope you're feeling better!!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Could definitely be the illness. But also, it's not uncommon for it to take a week for temps to drop below cover line. This current cycle is a weird one for me, Soy kept my temps even higher than normal and going off Vitex delayed O, but my coverline is usually around 98.0 and my temps don't typically drop below until around CD8. But some cycles they drop much faster.
My Ovulation Chart currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP
TTC #1- swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!
Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after removìng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic
Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

Thanks Maiden I so hate any changes in my cycle
they unnerve me!!
Mine usually drops the day AF starts. I hope O doesn't get knocked now too. Not going to worry about it or I will throw it off by worrying

I don't think my higher temps early on are related to delayed O. I'm sure it's the Vitex. I usually O around CD17-18 but the last time I went off Vitex I Oed on CD22 also. Whenever I start or stop Vitex, O is delayed for me.

Oh, duh! Well, illness doesn't always delay O. Fx it isn't for you. I think it matters both how sick you are and when in your cycle. I hope you feel 100% tomorrow!

Thank you
Yes I think you're rightif I was sick around O time that is much more likely to delay O - being sick during AF is probably ideal (lol
