Help with cycles coz they are majorly messed up

Ok, so I got my 1st pp af january 25th when LO was 5 months old. And i haven't had another one yet. I don't know whether i would be better off going on birth control pills for a few months and the first cycle off them do clomid, or whether i should think about doing provera soon to bring af on. I thought the BCP might help balance my hormones and bring down my testosterone levels since I have pcos, and originally my GP put me on these one's for that reason ages ago to reset my cycles int he hopes i would conceive. It turned out it was a blood clotting disorder preventing me from conceiving anyway. I am just not sure what to do. I know my body is still trying to go back to nromal after baby but its never been like this before. With my other 2 af arrived about 6-7 after baby was born and i went on the pill until we were ready ttc. After ds2 we were ready 6 months after his birth and my cycles were pretty predictable

That is normal and I had that happe with a couple of mine. I have also seen it happen even when people weren't breastfeeding. That is not outside of the norm whatsoever and I suspect you'll be back to normal shortly.

I personally do not think anyone with a blood clotting disorder should be on BCP. May be harmful to you.

Ok thanks atomic. I had the same worries but the high risk doctors didn't seem to have a problem with it after bub was born and was discussing bc. I am just worried it won't go back to normal since i also have pcos

Oh yes i am doing the alt diet but i am having issues managing the 1 hr cardio... not just because of endurance, but time too, as i am currently doing uni and juggling 3 kids lol... mine would be more moderate exercise

I think I said this in another thread anyway but for anyone with actual PCOS then the benefits to blood sugar control from the exercise are so great, you should do exercise even if you cannot get up to thte 60 6-7 recommendation
