After some advice...I am looking into potentially doing a cycle with Clinic R. I have emailed them and they seem very helpful; however, the email said that i can select the embryos based on the tests but not based on gender so does that mean they don't show you whether the embryo is XX or XY now, just whether it is chromosomally normal? Has anyone cycled there recently and can tell me what the process was? Thanks

Hi lw14, I've posted on the clinic r thread but as I've already said they don't openly say they will do gender selection but have done for past cyclers on here.
Best thing is not to mention GS until after all testing and then maybe have a non traceable phone call about the results.
Good luck x2x

Hi gizmo, sorry I meant what gets spoken on the phone won't be traceable as an email is. The clinic shud be happy to divulge more about the gender over the phone as no one can bust them; no proof.
But yeh kinda feels it's a mission lining to family and friends. It is definitely a covert operation for me2x

I went to **** in prague. the embryologist is highly experienced.
and got my girl there ...
you can speak openly to them. I confirmed also that I want to make sure that the child is healthy.
I had no xx in the first attemt and thus no transfer of the boys.
second attempt I had 3 xx!
you find their contact dates on their homepage.

Hi Paris, I think we should be careful stating the names of the clinic as it is still illegal there? We don't want to upset the clinic like what happened clinic R.

what happened to clinic R??? It's realy hard to understand everything when everything is so 'super secret' lol

i read somewhere that they wouldnt tell the couple the gender of the embryo.. is that true? does anyone know about that? I'm having fertilized eggs there at the moment and I hope they make it till day 5 for testing. but now I become real scared that everything might have been for nothing if they will not give me the information in the end. like pink rose suggested I didnt mention gs till now.
any support would be really nice right now....
