Hi all, I've got 2 amazing and sweet little boys and hoping to complete our family with a little girl!
Planning to start trying in August - is it too soon to start changing diet and exercise? I've heard it best to start a sway 6 weeks in advance so I'm not sure if starting to change things up now is just a waste of .. Time/energy etc. I Really don't want to put anything into my body that could change my (very regular) cycle or be potentially harmful. I've heard some good things about baby aspirin but windering if cranberry is just as good? Seems more natural to me.
Thoughts?

Welcome!
I would give yourself 12 weeks on the LE diet. You want to lose a little weight. The only supps you really need are folic acid (and vitamin D if you're comfortable taking it). DH on OLE is great. One unprotected attempt every 4 days (giving you one attempt in the fertile window) is very low stress and takes the edge of your "Martha-ism". LOL.

Thanks! What's OLE? Lol
I usually take Jamison prenatal vitamins - I guess just straight folic acid is better?

OLE = Olive Leaf Extract
Even better than folic acid is folate, if you don't mind shelling out for it. I would drop the prenatals (again, if you're comfortable with it).Sept 2008 & successful boy sway

How much and how often should DH take the OLE? Does it have any side effects?

If I bd every 4 days, I could end up doing it twice in a fertile window ie.cd 10 and 14 or cd 11 and 15. Is it best to just pick one day I'm the fertile window?

I think Vit D is fairly highly recommended these days for a healthy pregnancy. I'm not talking super doses here...Last edited by The Anchor; April 29th, 2015 at 01:55 PM.

Hi and welcome!
WE are getting best results with 12 weeks or more on diet but you have to weigh that against how much you have to lose. If you are thin and do diet for too long it is all too easy to stop ovulation and then it's a real PITA getting it going again.
Cranberry pills and aspirin are equally "natural" (natural does NOT necessarily mean GOOD, after all botulism is natural) but BOTH have proven themselves too risky and with too many side effects for us to use any more. Our results show that they are doing nothing to help anyone's sway and the risks and side effects both to you and to future unborn baby are too high and I no longer recommend either.
If you MUST do one or hte other PLEASE do the aspirin. While still less safe than I like, it's a heck of a lot safer than cranberry.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

It is, but unfortunatly I think it's among the strongest blue swayers there is.
Many people have more than enough Vit. D stored up and many many more get enough Vit. D via a bit of dairy in their diet and/or 10 min. of sunlight on their bare skin a day. I do think everyone benefits from starting D immediately on BFP and anyone with low Vit. D levels needs to supplement no matter how it sways.!!!
