So 12 DPO I got AF. It was 1 day early. Im only doing diet moderately and not taking any other supplements.
AF lasted only for 2 days. It's never 2 days for me.
I'm CD 3 and was hoping to take my first femara pill tonight.
Now I'm becoming paranoid about how short AF was.
I tested today at 14 DPO and I got a bfn. Can I be sure that I'm not pregnant and my 2 day bleeding was AF and not IB. It was exactly like AF but super short.
My question is should I take my femara tonight? I have a appt with an RE this Thursday and he isn't going to know about me taking femara.
Any input is appreciated.

I know for me when I started swaying my cycles seemed to change a bit so that can happen. If you feel very strongly that you may be pregnant get a blood test. I would assume by 14dpo you should have some kind of line but of course it is possible to have ovulated later as well. What does you gut tell you? Your RE doesn't know you are taking femera?

I couldn't get a positive hpt with DS2 until I was 21DPO!! I would ask for hcg bloodwork and hold off on the Femara. I had a few short AF's while TTC girl- super light for 3 days or normal flow for 2 days with one day of spotting. I know it sucks to wait it out and maybe have to go on for another cycle to TTC, but you don't want to jeopardize an early pregnancy either.
I would prepare yourself for a BFN and maybe having to TTC for an additional cycle or two until things balance back out.
Hugs sweetie!!!

14 DPO and BFN the odds are all but 100% that you are not pregnant but most sources recommend testing again just to be on the safe side at 16 DPO or the day before you start femara.
I told you this in another thread but for anyone else wondering, 2 day AF is ok and many of us noticed shorter, lighter AF while swaying.
BUT that having been said, while it could not have been implantation bleeding, it IS POSSIBLE to have what seems like an AF and be pregnant the entire time. You can have a placenta previa (and the bleeding comes from the cervix when the baby tries to implant) or miscarry a twin that can cause bleeding while the other baby stays put. I always recommend testing before taking anything that could harm a potential pregnancy, do NOT just assume if blood comes that you are not pregnant, please test every month that passes by because you can be pregnant even with a perfectly seeming AF.!!!
