I posted yesterday about swaying blue help. But I hit me today though another factor that might affect my sway is short spacing between pregnancies. I had my daughter March 2015, and I wanted to start trying again November 2015.. I don't breastfeed. I stopped at a month and a half. So if it works the first attempt, the kids will be 17 months apart.
If I'm taking all the supplements and I'm on the HE diet AND I stopped breast feeding quickly, am I safe? Or will having the 17 month apart still sway pink?? Please say no.. Lol!!![]()

Hmmm, I do know that short spacing sways girl...however the fact that you are not breastfeeding will help a lot. Hopefully atomic will jump in.
Thank you God and Our Lady

I really doubt the nutrients will be an issue as I'm going about this so differently. I'm wondering if I wasn't getting enough nutrients when I conceived my girl. Since I was working it SO much, I would imagine I was anemic, considering I was my whole pregnancy.. /: already I've been starting on the HE diet the week my daughter was born. And I'm taking WAY more supplements daily. As well as prenatals... Which I did not do at all before conceiving my girl.
I can already tell I'm getting more nutrition with the supplements and prenatals.. The diet is the easy part cause I'm pretty much just eating what I want! I abstained from red meats for a year before we conceived our daughter!! Was also having yogurt and milk daily! Sometimes twice a day! Oh and I did little to no carbs as well. I was in a major cutting phase lol. I'm confident I won't be anemic this time around.. But it does still worry me that short spacing usually aids in conceiving a girl!Rowan Mesler- 3/15

Firstly yogurt and milk are aloud and highly encouraged for a blue sway here ok
The body doesnt want to feel its lacking in anything for blue so keep them going! I'm not sure of the exact advice for spacing but if you are not b/f the your body is already back in recovery and I believe depending on each of us this can vary in length. Some people have hard pregnancies others easy so will be back in prime condition quicker. It may be worth thinking about a ttc month of the Jan afterwards as that way you will have all the xmas feasting on your side
Plenty of nuts and meats!!

I do think that closer spacing = more girls BUT that having been said, there are no guarantees with that and it's just one thing out of many that may sway for you. Breastfeeding or lack thereof may make a difference too. I got a boy with 20 months spacing so I know it's possible to get 2 boys close together.
Above all else, when it comes to spacing, as long as it's past a year, I think it's best to do what is goiing to work for you as a family and notworry too much about how it will sway if you're doing good in other ways.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Nann reading all the stuff you were doing, you may as well have been swaying for a girl.
I think you are fine to TTC when you want but I do want to echo what ELP said, that's another of those annoying things we do differently around here. We have gotten great results with full fat dairy for a boy and actually have a very good study that shows higher intake of cal-mag in moms that went on to conceive boys. Several of us got all boys with dairy (or girls without it) and even with pink sways where we were taking gobs of calcium (I got a boy taking 1200 mg a day!!! and my girl with very little dairy at all and no supplements). If you eliminate it from your diet all that happens is your body takes everything it wants from your bones and teeth. So you may end up mortgaging your future health for something that doesn't help your sway.

I know LOL looking back I might as well have just been swaying for my daughter! I didn't really know much about swaying to begin with. So I always thought I was trying for a boy just by doing boy positions. Shows how little I knew! That's why I'm very hopeful that I can get it right this time! But I know the reality is that it up to God not me! I'm just crossing my fingers that I can make it easier for himRowan Mesler- 3/15
