Curious for your guesses - Blue or Pink

Hi all,

This is my ultrasound for 13 weeks. I was wondering if there were any guesses on whether it's a boy or girl? We've got two boys, it would be nice to bring some variety into the family mix. My pregnancy hasn't been much different though, so I'm thinking it's more than likely going to be another blue.

Minky I don't have a guess for you but don't pay any attention to symptoms. All 3 of my pregnancies have been VASTLY different, & I am about to have my 3rd son. Symptoms mean nothing. Good luck.

I think I may see a girly nub in there when I zoom in. I don't feel too confident about it though. There is something boyish about the skull to me.

I would love see more pics if you have any!

Unfortunately I've only got these ones from 12 weeks and they are even less clear. One looks like a potty shot ... a highly suspicious boy type potty shot.





Still 5 weeks to go before it all gets confirmed.

I think I agree with you that the potty shot is looking pretty boyish. FX for girl, but prepare to hear boy!

Thank you Claire. I'm okay with it being a boy this time around. I was sure DS2 was a girl, so I felt a bit blindsided when I was told I was having a boy. I don't really think that helped. This time I'm expecting them to tell me it is a boy. It is more just the expectations from family and friends for me to now have a girl that I'm finding really difficult. I know I shouldn't, but I just feel like I am going to let them all done - and I'm worried that they are going to feel sorry for me rather than congratulatory.

Hugs Minky. When I told people I was having a third boy I painted a HUGE grin on my face like it was the best news EVER. When I told people over the phone I made sure I was in the headspace where I could sound excited. I put thrilled & excited-sounding updates on social media. MOST people were lead by my behavior & just joined in the excitement, Possibly not to be rude but I didn't care. To my way of thinking my unborn son deserved everyone to be as thrilled about his impending arrival as my first. When people expressed any sympathy or disappointment I jumped on it immediately with a huge grin on my face "Oh no not at ALL we are THRILLED! I LOVE having boys!" My other favourite line for nay-Sayers was "You get what you get & you don't get upset." Of course privately I was disappointed but I felt (& feel) extremely protective of my unborn son. That disappointment is for ME, privately, how dare anyone else be disappointed in my son?! Of course you can manage it however you feel best, & there is no right or wrong, that's just what I did.
