Just wanted to share the good news that I got my bfp this week. I'm shocked and thrilled that it happened so quickly; there was so much wasted time and heartbreak before I got pregnant with my baby boy.
I did kind of a half-assed sway for a girl (relied on breastfeeding, reducing overall calories, choosing lower nutrition foods where possible, and lost about 8 pounds in the two weeks before attempt), but there was definitely more that I could have done. I thought I would feel disappointed in myself for not trying harder, but at the moment, I'm just grateful to be where I am.
Thanks everyone for all the great advice and support in the last few months
