Am or pm bd?

So, I have in my mind that DTD first thing in the am is better for TTC boy... So, ideally, with our attempts in the fertile window, are people going for am or pm? Obviously pm is sooooo much easier as less chance of interruption from DDs and also no need to jump up immediately afterwards and get on with the day...but if am is better, it will be done! I'll be aiming for one attempt per day, so what would people suggest?

I'm a pm girl!! Hubby works wayyyyy to early & like you said, less interruptions! I'll do the one am after opk.... But the rest are pm's..

Do what works for YOU. I believe it is completely irrelevant. This idea was based on the notion that men have higher T levels in the morning but since we don't even KNOW that testosterone sways (and if it does, that it's some temporary fluctuation, which is very unlikely to my mind!!) I strongly urge everyone to BD at the time of day that is easiest for them and DH.

I can assure you I have never BD in the morning with my 4 boys.

Thanks, Atomic and Ash, this is good to hear! I had thought it was to do with higher sperm count in the morning, but I cannot remember where I read that.

Higher T can = higher sperm count, but the daily fluctuations are NOTHING compared to what we see with regular release vs. abstain/daily release. If you're already having him release every 2-4 days, you've done tons more to up sperm count and improve sperm health than BD in the morning ever could.
