We swayed 6 years ago for our boy and did it quite loosely. I don't remember taking any extra folic acid but I did take prenatals but the kind that dr. had prescribed. I don't recall what all was in them but quite sure calcium was in there. I've read on here that calcium should be cut out if wanting to sway blue. Please give suggestions as I want to make a purchase on a few things tonight and get this started soon. Thank you so much! This site is so full of information already. I've been lurking and reading since last night(this morning at 2)! <3

What prenatal vitamin is best for boy swaying?

First off welcome!
and good luck swaying! I'm swaying blue as well! When do you plan on ttc??? Also calcium is actually recommended for swaying blue! Getting 100% drv is encouraged for all nutrients as the best chance for a successful blue sway start with a healthy momma who is totally nourished in all areas! Deficiencies can possibly sway blue! I've been having the same convo with one of the site moderates so I'm just relay all the info she so graciously gave to me!
but really if you are a firm believer in this then it's your decision! So many sites say different things and believe diff things
so it's really whatever you feel would and should work!

Wait are you serious? Calcium sways for a boy? I swear I just read that it wasn't one of the supplements to take. Ahh..it would seem right though since I couldn't completely give up foods that contained calcium when I swayed for my son. I love cheese like something serious and craved orange juice in the months leading up to ttc.
We're wanting to try my august cycle which should start on the 26th.
Congrats to you too!! Good luck.

Well it's not specifically calcium that sways blue. It's all nutrients
being deprived of key nutrients sways pink. So I'm not saying chug milk every day and eat blocks of cheese
I'm just saying don't cut it out of your diet
atomic sagebrush has been helping me a bunch on my swaying and encouraged me to keep getting the recommended amount of calcium. But again other people swear by cutting calcium! But in general for swaying blue, a good quality multivitamin is greatly encouraged and they contain 100% drv of calcium

What prenatal vitamin is best for boy swaying?
http://genderdreaming.com/forum/tryi...blue-sway.html
^Okay so here is all of atomic' amazing information on ttc a boy!!! Including supplementsit's like my bible.. Lol!!
But it's my understanding that whatever the multivitamin or prenatal does not cover, you should supplement with. Or at least this is what I am doing. So for example there is no fish oil in my multivitamins so I take fish oil along with my multivitamins. Another example is that my multivit only provides a portion of my vitamin A recommended value. So I supplement with wheat grass pills!
There are also a handful of unicorn supplements that are said to sway blue such as evening primrose oil and false unicorn root.. (Not even sure entirely what those are..)
You can also find a ton of recommended vitamins and supplements on the ttc blue attempt results spreadsheet to see what other people tried and if they resulted in boy etchere is the link for the spread sheet! -
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...htmlview?pli=1
(Hopefully the second link works.. If not, just go to the "trying to conceive a boy" forum and it's up at the top!)

Awesome. I will get to reading that. I haven't clicked on it yet but I did read tons of information she had posted last night, this morning and this evening. I've been researching so much my eyes are tired.
I am currently taking a multivitamin that I bought months ago. It's Rainbow Light Women's One a Day. It has probiotics in it too but no fish oil I know. So I know I will have to get some of that. I just want the brand to be a good reputable brand. Thank you again so much!!

Thank you! I'm going through it slowly and have one question. I am looking into getting fish oil and it says that soy is in it but I also read that soy wasn't good for fertility?.....Am I just tired or is this right?

Boy I've never even heard of fish oil having soy in it.. But my guess is it's just trace amount and will not have an effect on your sway. So many women have taken fish oil here and it hasn't effected their fertility! But I guess don't quote me on that!
