I am 11 weeks along exactly and was pretty bummed to see a forked flat nub thing on my sonogram picture today (I am hoping for a boy). But its position is kind of weird, it is nowhere near where the genitals would be????.Is this even a nub or am I seeing something else like a part of the arm? If it is a nub how did it end up there?![]()

I can't see a nub in that pic, the bottom half of your baby has been cut off. What I will say though is that at 11 weeks it's too early to guess with nub theory, it still has plenty of time to change yet. My last babys nub looked girl at 11 weeks but he is all boy :-) good luck.

Thanks. So this thing I have now marked in red is definitely not the nub?
I do not plan on finding out until birth, but couldn't help noticing that "fork" on the picture they gave me.
Thank you again for you input.
