Not sure where to put this...but missed mc and now what...ready to move on!!!

Ah, I had another mc. Again, testing at 8-9 dpo with bfps that faded away to bfns by 14-15 dpo. Grr. I spotted for 18 days, but all of it didn't add up to even one day of AF and haven't had a period for 6 weeks. I have had 4 migraines in 3 days (yeah, no kidding) and now have a YI that I have suspected was brewing for days and is nasty now. All typical for me when my hormones are WHACKED right out!

IDK what to do. My dr doesn't want to do a d&c since I was only 4 weeks, but my body isn't doing it naturally. and i can't stand the migraines. I know this will even out as soon as I get an AF and everything clears...so what now?

    Thanks girls!

Can you look into herbs that will bring on AF? Maybe vitex even? Not too sure...I'm so sorry you're going through this Hugs xoxo

Thanks..I will look that up. I heard some women take the abortion pill, is that plan B? IDK! But I can;t sit around having 2 migraines a day until I MC naturally. Making me crazy! I just want to feel like me again!

I'm not sure I'd class what you've described as a MC - it sounds to me like a chemical pregnancy. If this is the case there would be no need for a D&C or abortion pills. I would give your body time - it may be that you will get a big nasty period next cycle or that there simply wasn't a thick enough lining to sustain the pg and therefore not a big AF.

Well that's what I thought too but the dr at my clinic says she has no idea what a chemical pregnancy is--they are ALL mc's she said. And all she does is reproductive stuff. IDK...I explained it to her and she stared at me blankly like I'd lost my marbles. LOL!

Thanks for the thoughts. I sure hope af comes soon, I have had migraines every day for days on end. NOT HAPPY about that!

Hey hun, that is so odd that your doctor didn't know what a chemical is.....I think there is a big difference, because early like that, you don't build up as much "matter" that needs to be expelled....in fact, it is just like a heavy period. But, when you get to 8+ weeks, you have a little labor and clumps of tissue come out. Sorry for TMI, but with my 10wk loss in May, I passed several wads of stuff that were the size of a golfball at least. In that case, if you don't get it all out, you will have issues. But, with a chemical, like Sassy said, you should just bleed like a period. SL, I bet you are just doing it slowly, which is indeed awful since you are having such bad side effects. I would not do a d&c unless you REALLY need to, it is invasive and you need to be put down, and it can take 3-6 cycles for your uterus to get back to normal and build up a lining that is good enough to sustain a pregnancy.

I like DM's idea of some herbs....didn't you take Vitex before? Can't remember from IG.....you should at least have your doc give you some pain meds to help out with the migraines! Provera is the drug to induce AF, that may help you also. I'm so sorry to hear about this!!!!

I think that the spotting was you expelling, and then your hormones can be out of whack too, I had a m/c at 7wks, I spotted one day then that night passed a huge clot in toilet and then spotting for 3 more days, I went to the dr thinking I didnt m/c all the way, my other m/cs I bleed really hard for a wk and they were 6wks m/cs, and then u/s showed everything clear, but I understand what your doc is saying a chemical pregnancy is basically an early m/c that happens before the 4th to 5th wk of pregnancy basically right around af shows, basically an egg that implants and then nothing happens and then m/c out right around af it might actually delay af for a couple of days, sorry your going through this

That is VERY strange that your doc hasn't heard of chemical pregnancy although I do agree they prob. shouldn't do a D and C at 4 weeks.

I don't have much to add because everyone has already covered most of the bases, but rather than vitex I would try raspberry leaf tea and also having the big O (I'm sure that's the last thing on your mind) to bring on AF.
