    Spotting through entire LP

    Ever happened to anyone?

It started 3 DPO and I *think* my AF finally showed today for real (14DPO) If not, probably tomorrow, I didn't bother to do HPT.

I usually spot 4-5 days before AF, but never this long, what could it be? During night it stops, which confused me even more
For few cycles I had an improvement and spotted only 1 day prior to AF, I was like 'yaay, I fixed it!' Right....

My Prenatals contain vit B complex (including vit B6 2.6mg or 104% daily value for pregnant or lactating women - as stated on the label)

Is it preventing me to get pg? I was spotting from my first AF and it doesn't happen only if I'm pg (happened all 3 times).

I know Vitex can help in raising progesterone, but it sways pink so NO WAY. Sorry for long post, but I'm really concerned

how strange! I agree with you it sounds like a hormone thing, but no idea what to suggest on how to fix it...

My friend has to take prog supplements starting at 3 DPO in order just to get pregnant...and she has 3 B and only 1 G! Can you get prog supps?? THat type of bleeding would def. keep you from getting pg.

It is actually pretty common for bleeding to stop at night - some gals have less bleeding from AF at night and don't have to wear a pad to bed.

It may be a one month only thing and things will return to normal next time. that things are back on track next month.

You CAN take more B6 than that if you would like, to see if it would help. I took 100 mg and conceived DS 4...I think the idea that B6 is a girl supp, just isn't so. You may have heard that A-Gender dropped it from its girl supps list because they thought it was causing opposites.

I'm taking 50mg of B6 this past cycle and I think that it helped my LP a lot. Maybe try more this cycle?

Weird! Maybe you should ask your OB?

I have only had spotting before AF the two months I tried to get PG with my 2nd baby, and I always wondered if maybe it was because the egg fertilized but didn't stick...?

Thank you guys for kind words and advices!
Atomic and Doula - I'll try vit B6 50 mg, I already have it in my 'home pharmacy' lol!
I might try to get some progesterone supps as well. Atomic - your friend with 3B - that is so encouraging to me, it might be a hormonal sign I'll get a boy

Hobber - you spotted before you conceived DS? Hope that's the case with me as well.

Zani huni, thank you! I hope too it's just one off (but why? lol)

I am so optimistic about this cycle I have gut feeling I'll make my next baby

    Atomic, I've just re-read this http://genderdreaming.com/forum/show...esterone+cream
I'm not brave enough to try prog cream , I thought to try with B6 first. Do you think 50 mg would be enough or should I take recommended 100mg maybe in 2 doses of 50 mg (morning and evening)?

When I was pg with DD1, my gyn gave me Utrogestan during 1st trimester. When pg with DD2 I had menace of m/c in week 10 ( I though it was a m/c, profuse bleeding and felt exactly the same like m/c in 2001, but u/s showed HB my brave baby girl decided to stay!) so I was in hospital for a week on progesterone injections and after that was given Utrogestan for the rest week of 1st trimester.

So my experiences with Utrogestan are excellent and I though maybe to try it after O instead of prog cream? What do you think? Here is the link about it http://www.besins-healthcare.com/Pub...D=140&page=175 I can buy it in pharmacy without prescription.

Just my 2 cents- I wouldn't self medicate when it comes to hormones. I would either go get tested and see what your prog. levels are at or try 50mg of B6 in the am and pm. I find that B6 is a great m/s helper so I continue taking it until 18weeks. You should most likely wean off it slowly, because when it comes to hormones nothing should be stopped suddenly.
