Changing thread title, has it worked??? YES it has!!!! lol

Is there a way, or next time the site gets tweaked, could we add in, a way to make changing the main thread title easier for when we have updates I've managed to change the title to the 1st post but not to the listed? title. Many thanks!!

Yeah would be nice to put "update" in the title or chance it if we mistype it like I did .LOL

I'm looking into it to see if anyone but administrators can do this. It's not me stopping you because I have set all options that I know of to allow you all to do this but I think it is the way the forum DB works. Let me look into it. In the mean time, you can PM a Moderator and they can make the change for you.

I can add a Post ICON that says update until I figure out if I can make the change...that might work for just letting everyone know there is an update, right? Short term fix but I'll still look into it.

I *think* I have fixed this. If one of you sees this, can you test it out for me, please? Thanks!

ETA- It is a little screwy the way you go about it though. If you go to the forum where your tread is listed along with all the others- so you are just viewing all the thread titles and you go just to the right of your title and double click in the white space next to the current title, it should open the title box where you may change it there. You don't open the thread to do it...does that make sense?
