    DH HE diet

    Does it matter if DH follows the diet or even loses a lot of weight while trying to conceive?

    I would not have him lose tons of weight when TTC unless he's very heavy to begin with. EVen then it's prob. best to take some time off TTC while he loses weight instead of TTC while he's losing more than like 5 lbs.

    NO he does NOT need to do HE Diet but if he were to eat healthfully, with lean meats and eggs and fruit and veg, that's good.

    he should avoid high intake of soy foods.

    If he starts eating normal calories / gains a little weight, is 6 weeks enough time to start TTC again?
    He is a UFC and is always cutting weight for sport.

    Oh in that case I wouldn't worry about it, he's a fit guy and that's not the kind of weight gain/loss that we worry about for TTC a boy.

    He's often around 10% body fat but then gets down to 5% for a match.

    Yeah, he's fine doing what it takes. (am I the only gal who wants a pic LOL)

    The idea is that body fat = more girls conceived but when guys lose weight they may keep fat and lose muscle. It is a totally diff. scenario because he is NOT getting girls because body fat is making estrogen for him!!
