They all assume everyone has family and friends to visit, talk with, and help. All their funny rules about company. Guess one thing I don't have to worry about. Just very depressing knowing you are bringing this life into the world you would like to share with everyone and knowing they won't meet them until 2 years old like your other kids. No one bringing you food, or gifts, or offers of help, lol.
Where are my mom's that can relate?
I know I'm not alone in this but damn sure feels lonely.

Oh I'm so sorry you're feeling down. I have lots of my own family around but DH's family all live 5 hours away. Not a huge distance but you would think it is since they never come visit and especially not right around the time baby is due. We have to make the effort to pack up all the kids and go see them. It would be nice if they came when we actually need the help.
Any mom/baby groups around that you can join? I know it's not the same as family, but it can help with the loneliness.Mama to four sweet boys

Not overseas just cross country so it might as well be lol.
Just a 6 hour flight but with a family of 7 going on 8 very $$$ so we don't make it every year. And they never have $ or time to come this way. I wish they were a 5 hour drive away that would be awesome, weekends, holudays, birthdays, whenever. Seeing true friends and family every couple years is just not the same as living there.

I feel for you hun, my hubby is like yours a lone gamer. We have no friends I don't trust people. I dis-owed my family because they were so rude and selfish, and we were dis-owed from my hubby's family because we wouldn't accept a stranger coming to us claiming to have had a baby by my hubby without a dna.
Sometimes I feel sad that it's my children that miss out, but most times I think at least those people are not in my children's lives to let them down!
Hope you feel better soon and that new baby picks your spirits up!
((((Hugs))))

Thing is my family 3 brothers, 4 sisters, get along and see each daily, weekly, my kids have lots of cousins. My mil does not but pick or tell us how to raise kids. Just spoils them w junk food but I let her since she only sees them every few years. My dh is so happy around his bro. We are both happier and diff. People when around our fams. But besides myself being happier I think about my kids not knowing their grand parents as I was very close to mine and they are getting older and won't be here very long
it just depresses me more and more. I feel myself hating dh for trapping us here but really his job pays sell enough for me to be a sahm with 6 kids so how can I complain? If I could go back in time I just never would've moved over here but no use thinking of that
