Has anyone had a faint positive at 7dpo but a significantly positive hpt at 8dpo and gone on to have only one baby? I am only in the pm of 9dpo and the sickness has hit...Something that didn't hit until 5-6weeks with my singleton boys. I know early pregnancy symptoms don't mean anything in terms of bubs sex. I have been taking 2000mg of folate for the last 2 cycles. Wondering if I need to get hcg draws or book in for a scan at 6-7weeks (normally don't bother). Anyone with similar experience or any twin mummy's that have any insight?

Main reason I'm asking is that I am a runner but am still working up my mileage for a race when I'll be 13/14 weeks. Obviously will only maintain and not build if I may be at higher risk of mc.

March 26th, 2016, 06:24 AM #5Yep that makes sense... Hmm well 9dpo sure is early to get such strong symptoms. If you're worried, maybe just go easy with the exercise until you can have a dating scan at 6 weeks to find out if you have one or two in there?? So exciting!!

Thanks! That's what I was thinking but felt like I may be over reacting! Hope I wake up in the morning and feel fine and the nausea is isolated to just tonight! So very exciting!

March 26th, 2016, 06:58 AM #7That's too early so you are likely further along than you think. The embryo takes 6-7 days to implant and then a little more time to generate HCG that shows up on a urine test. 7dpo would be like 1 or 2 days post transfer in IVF world. 4dpt is the very soonest you can really see anything and 5dpt is definitely a possibility for a true positive test. That's 9 and 10dpo.

I am happy to be wrong but I am pretty happy that I'm right. Was testing with opk 3 times a day for a week and am confident that only got one positive at 5pm on cd17.
