My son is coming up on his first birthday and my husband and I are starting to talk about TTC #2. We had a successful sway with DS and would love to try to sway pink this time around. But as I'm reading the files and going through threads, best practices, etc. I'm feeling like our chances are slim. Swaying for a girl seems super hard. Has anyone had success swaying pink while nursing a baby? I feel like there are a lot of supplements I'm not comfortable taking, and I'm afraid that will ruin my sway. I am all about nursing to natural term so it isn't an option to wean just to possibly give him a sister. I haven't had my period return yet, but plan on starting Vitex in the near future to hopefully help it return. Does anyone have any success stories to share with me so I can get my hopes up again?

It's not hard, it seems overwhelming at first but really it can be very simple. THe things that really work are LE Diet longer than 12 weeks (and you can absolutely tweak that to make it more BF friendly) exercise, one attempt. The rest is things people want to know about but don't really work that well.
I have a girl I got when breastfeeding. I fully support swaying while BF, you do not need to wean!!!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

What supplements do you recommend while BF a baby boy? I saw that SP and cranberry and peppermint tea are unsafe while BF especially a baby boy.
Would you recommend baby aspirin, Vitex, antihistamines, probiotics, Replens and Olive leaf extract while BF?

Probiotics seemed to sway strongly blue and we no longer use them.
Baby aspirin I never used when nursing any baby and it's been disappointing results with much worse side effects so while a few people do still insist on it, most have given up.
Antihistamine, also disappointing results. If you do want to use it, just do ONE 6 cetirizine 6 hrs. before attempt. Do not do the 5-day method or the combo with diphenhydramine
Replens has no effect on nursing baby, neutral results
OLE is for DH not DW to take. Should ahve no effect on a nursing baby because woman does not take it
Vitex we do use for nursing moms but again it's been quite disappointing. I would not use it until baby is at least 9 months old and it has really messed up people's cycles.
Very few of the supps have seemed to help, especially when compared to LE Diet for 12 weeks or more, exercise, and one attempt all of which have been great and consistent with results.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Thank you so much! I feel a lot more confident. I can definitely stick to the diet, exercise, and one attempt (even though DH might not love that after all the attempts to get our boy haha). Thank you so much for taking the time to answer and explain. I didn't want to take anything that might affect my son's hormones or our nursing relationship, and I feel so much better knowing that the things I may have considered aren't very effective anyway. Thank you again!
