DH has just started a low carb diet. Kinda like the Atkins diet but he's not gone nuts with high fat foods but does eat a ton of meat and eggs and no food with carbs higher than 5%. He is of course loosing weight this way which is great and his general well-being is much better as carbs really are not his friend.
I know this kinda diet is great for DW if you're swaying blue but what about for DH if you're swaying pink?
Thanks for your thoughts

I think it's going to boost his testosterone levels overall, which wouldn't be considered ideal for a pink sway. But his swimmer ratio shouldn't be changed. Might want to encourage him to wear tighty whities if he's not already!
If he's eating a lot of meats and avoiding veggies that could be a good thing from a pH standpoint, as meat is acidifying. You should also be able to have him use DH supps for pink if he is open to it.
Since it's doing really well for his general well-being I wouldn't worry too much about it - it's good for his health, which is in the end good for the baby! Lots of DW's have a successful sway even when DH doesn't participate in the sway at all.Wife to a sweetie DH& Mama to:

Also, let me add that we conceived our daughter last year while my DH was eating a very low-carb diet (and has VERY high testosterone rates!) I was losing a lot of weight at the same time and I think that helped us (inadvertently since the pg was not planned) sway pink.

My DH's diet was terrible when we were swaying and I just let him get on with it tbh! If testosterone sways in DH by altering his sperm levels then there are other things you can do to achieve that side of things with frequent release or abstaining.

The situation with these diets and body composition is really complex.
On the one hand, it's prob. better for his testosterone and sperm count, but on the other hand if he loses too much weight it can actually lower his testosterone (this takes quite a bit for guys, tho)
On the other, a lot of toxins are released from the body with weight loss, and even though it sounds crazy, those toxins can sway pink. Weight loss will also reduce his pH. Also, his blood sugar will drop - I don't know that blood sugar does anything for guys, but it can't hurt!!!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
