Hi guys I'm back after miss carrying twins , we are looking to try again in a couple of months I have been doing a low sugar diet, with very little meat. Not eating breakfast until 9.30 and last meal at 6 , no fruit, but eating veg and fish and very little or no sugar but having some sweeteners and 2/3 cans of Coke Zero everyday also 1hr cardio 3 times a week. Do I need to up my cardio ? And does sugar sway ? Can anyone else give me any pointers ? I've only lost 5lb so far and still have around 21lbs I would like to lose . Thank you x

Sorry to hear your loss, how far along were you/did you know gender etc? What's your plan for a sway? I'm not sure re sugar, I think it depends more on your style of le, whether your doing the pcos variant or not?x

Sorry for your loss.
If you're PCOS/IR then sugar should be avoided for sure and cardio should be at least 5 days per week I think with 6 or 7 being the best unless you're PCOS/IR in which case anything is better than nothing.
Are you doing fiber? I'm not sure if Coke zero has caffeine already but coffee seems to sway as well. Alcohol too.Mama to four sweet boys

Oh I'm sorry to hear that.
Bloating is not a reason to do PCOS Diet. Do you have any reason to believe you have PCOS or tendencies that way?? If you start doing PCOS type diet and don't need to, you can waste away to nothing very quickly.
Sugar does not have to be eliminated for anyone who is not PCO, insulin resistant, has more than 30-50 lbs to spare, or who has tried the standard LE Diet and not lost weight or gained it. I would start off on more of a standard LE Diet with more cardio (4-6 days) and see how it goes. If weight flies off you do not need to go on the alt. diet.
Why no fruit? That is allowed on all the variations of diet including PCOS.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

the link to the PCOS type diets is here http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gend...rt-3-pcos.html
It's also possible to do mostly the PCOS type diet and then just be a little more forgiving with yourself on the carb front. It will help slow weight loss and also is easier to stick to.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

When I did le before I didn't lose anything and felt really sluggish and no energy . I started the no sugar after my mc just to get healthy as I found was bloating loads and carrying a lot of weight around my middle and I found I lost weight doing this . Would u suggest me going back to the le diet of I'm trying to conceive pink . I don't think I have pcos x

Oh yes THAT is the reason to do the alt. diets!!!
I would absolutely have you do the PCOS-type diets in this case, I just don't want someone who SHOULDN'T be doing them (like people who are already very tiny and lose weight super fast) doing it.
You don't ahve to have PCOS to benefit from them - they're getting good results for lots of different people.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
