I am not diabetes yet but I am in insulin resistance which is the early stage of diabetes. I have two girls and really want to have a boy. I now just realise why I got my two girls not only because of my habit of diet but also because of my unstable sugar level. My grand aunt got two girls and she has diabetes before she got pregnant. And I have read people with our condition are much more likely to have girls from this site or other similar sites.
Has anyone with sugar level problem had boys? Feel so helpless! Also with my condition I realise it is much more harder to follow HE diet![]()

I suffer from hypoglycemia and my blood sugar levels go really low. I have had insulin resistance test which came back normal but i do have issues with blood sugar. I have 2 boys. My mother has type 1 diabetes and had 3 girls and 1 boy. She actually took clomid and fell pregnant with my brother.

I have reactive hypoglycemia and had gestational diabetes with my second child. I had both boys. I think bc a high protein diet and nutrient dense diet often yields boys that was the case. Also, my mom has hypoglycemia and also had 2 boys before me. It is totally possible!! Atomic can probably add to this! [emoji6]

Yes a huge percentage of our blue swayers have to be on special diets because of insulin resistance.
It is probably not diabetes per se that makes girls, it is the medications that they are on that sway pink.
Let's get you onto our blue sway diet that is better for insulin resistance and you can find it here, 5 from the top. http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gend...rt-3-pcos.html!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Thank you so much everyone! I can see my hope now. I am trying to be on HE Diet, but I realised I often eat LE diet out of my own habit. I guess that is the one of the reasons that I have 2 girls. For example, I loves cranberry and was eating dried cranberry everyday, I love sweets or anything tastes sweet, I don't like breakfast, beef or things too salty. I am in the process of changing myself to HE diet and feel hopeful till i read about diabetes with the experience of myself and relatives.
May I ask with my situation, can I still go for customerised plan?

I am pregnant now 11 weeks. I didnt do any diet or sway this time due to the fact it took me over 12 months to fall pregnant . Going back june last year i started LE diet and was eating pretty much bread pasta and lollies and the weight was falling off me so i dont think i have the issues with loosing weight. In saying that the pcos girl diet is the way to go for many woman suffering from glucose issues and alot find they loose weight on that diet
So , sorry i dont have any meal ideas but maybe you could start a thread and ask if any other ladies may have some ideasDW 33

Yes of course you can still do a custom plan - about 90% of the people who get custom plans are those with health issues.
Dried cranberry doesn't sway. It's only the very highly concentrated form (supplements) that you have to avoid and even those got neutral results for us.
I do NOT want you doing that very high sodium intake recommended on other sites. It doesn't work at all and a high number of my opposites (esp the first year of the site) were in people who insisted on doing the high sodium intake. You may really harm your health with diabetes and dumping gobs of salt onto that.
For your version of the HE Diet please avoid things like bread, rice, pasta, and yes, even bananas (at least most of the time) Limit potatoes - you can have them just don't go overboard thinkin you need to eat 3 a day or anything. They are so carby and you will be much better off getting your protein + carbs from healthier fruits and vegetables.
You don't have to eat beef if you hate it. Eat chicken and salmon instead and even vegetarian proteins like nuts and beans (they are carby so you have to use sparingly in your situation though)
Breakfast is a must though.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
