Please double check the directions on your box of OPK because many of them are not supposed to be done in the morning. After lunch is usually best.

The reason why your afternoon one is darker is because that's the time of day you pee out the most hormone.

That's exactly what happened, it was a false positive. l was stressed l would miss my lh surge so l used fmu though it clearly states not to. Here are my sticks, today is lighter so lm really glad we bd'd last night. My temp started rising a bit today though l drank alcohol too..
Anyway, lm glad we bd'd. Fingers crossed and thanks as always.
