As I'm planning toward my LE diet at the end of 2011, I'm starting to seek out products that will be diet-friendly. I thought I'd post potentials as I spot them and see if they get forum approval ---- or if some folks spot aspects of them that would make them better to avoid. If they do seem to be good things, I'll repost them in the "Products we love" thread for better archiving.
Here's the nutrition info for Activia Fiber yogurt (vanilla & cereal flavor):
Calories: 110 (15 from fat)
Total fat: 2g (1g is saturated)
Sodium: 60mg
Potassium: 150mg
Total carbs: 19g (dietary fiber 3g; sugars 16g)
Protein: 3g
Calcium: 15% daily value for a 2,000 calorie diet
There is an Activia Light, but while it has fewer calories, no fat and a trace amount of aspartame, it has more sodium, more potassium and more protein. So I figured the Fiber version was preferable.
What say you, ladies? Is this a thumbs-up product for the LE diet or a thumbs-down?

October 14th, 2011, 11:00 AM #4Totally thumbs up from me and GREAT catch that the light version has more sod, pot, and pro!! That is actually fairly common - they load up the light versions with salt to make them more palatable!! I would def. go with the regular version!!! !!! Questions??
