    Question A few questions

    Hi everyone!
My husband and I want to start trying around March. I have been reading a lot about pink swaying and have a few questions before deciding to buy a plan. Hopefully I can get some clarifications! Thank you!

1- Exercise: Are the 60mind per day consecutive? Or can I break it up 30min in the am and 30min at night? I typically run ~5k three times per week, but each run is less than 30min. I also do ~2 yoga sessions per week. Can hot yoga count?

2- Calories: Do I add the total calories lost during workout to the amount I can consume? (Example: Lost 300 calories during my run. Can I eat an extra 300 calories that day?) I am normally starving after a workout!

3- Diet: I worry about sticking to it... especially with the holidays... I typically eat very healthy and do several small meals per day so this will be a huge change for me :/ Plus Thanksgiving and Christmas are coming right up...

    Thanks ladies!

    Hi Monana,
Welcome and good luck with your sway ill try to answer your questions just purely based of my own sway.
Exercise: I'm not a big exercise fan so I struggled with this part, I did walking 3 times a week mostly about 4 blocks walking my son to school, and 1 ladies group exercise session which I ended up dropping out of. I did do Hypoxi 1 session a week which is in a cycle style machine but had to drop it after 2 months due to the price. I do believe with exercise the more the better and no weights or at a minimum. I would think yoga would be fine.

Calories: I didn't re add the calories I lost with workouts because I didn't track them as I maintained my weight. You should always eat after a workout and just plan what you would have according tot he diet your following and it would be more limiting I would think if you workout around breakfast time.

Diet: To give you some reassurance I started my sway in roughly sept 2015 and then got lazy around Christmas time and in the new year got back on track however I wasn't planning to try to conceive until some months later. I fell off the bandwagon a few times we all do it I just kept messaging Atomic as I had a custom sway to ease my mind about what I had eaten and see if it was ok

I just tried my best to find good alternatives to the naughty stuff I was wanting. For example if I really wanted a certain flavour I went with Mingle seasoning :Mingle | Mingle Seasoning: No preservatives, Low in salt, Sugar Free its an Australian brand though with low sodium.

I hope any of that helps and doesn't create any confusion, hopefully Atomic will chime in at some point and let you know of any specifics

Good luck on your sway journey

    1. Exercise should be consecutive and cardio. It's best not to do anything that builds muscle. If the time works, adding some time walking at the end of your run works.

    2. You should probably be at the upper end of the calorie range if you are exercising.

    3. I've been finding it's easier to stick to the diet the longer you've been doing it. Personally I would start now to have you in a better spot for the holidays, or push your start date back to April and completely not worry at all for the holiday season.

Please give me a day or two to reply before bumping posts. I try to answer oldest to newest and so a bump just makes the post go back to the "new" posts for me and makes it take longer. I want you guys to get a response as quick as I can~!

1)60 minutes needs to be consecutive when possible because it takes that long to "convince" your body to stop burning carbs and start burning stores of fat as fuel. Something about this seems to sway pink.

Exercise should be cardio. Yoga doesn't count as it may be somewhat muscle building. You can always add it on to exercise if you'e done cardio, though, if it helps you emotionally.

2)No, I don't want you guys doing complex math equations every day as that kind of thing can mess with your head and inadvertently sway blue by making you too focused on detail oriented stuff. I want you to just eat the calories and do the exercise and not think about it too much. On days you exercise I'd probably eat upper limits of cals (1800-2000)

3)Holidays are fine to cheat. Cheating is allowed and actually encouraged on LE Diet as needed. Re number of meals, you can eat 3 meals (that's totally allowed) just pushing breakfast back a little bit. Or, if that is still undoable, feel free to add in a 4th meal (resuming breakfast) or even a 5th if you can't go without it. It is still going to be very different than what you were eating when you conceived boys - the "all day every day" kind of eating. Then over time you may find you can drop one of them or even two. There is no "extra credit" for being miserable on LE Diet, it is fine to tweak it to suit you better.
