Psychic reading said my next baby will be a boy...

...but I just want a girl so bad. I have my boy and I want my girl. That girl that me and my husband saw in our dreams years ago. The psychic also told me that they would either be born in or conceived in Nov/Dec and my husband and I planned to stop trying for a baby by September if we didn't get pregnant, we'd resume next May. So...it just sounds all kinds of wrong. But, apparently she has a reputation of being eerily right.

I keep telling myself that I want another baby even if it is another boy. But, I'd be upset knowing mine and my husband's feelings were wrong. I'd feel like I was being cheated by the universe.

I'm bummed out.

I 100% understand the mindset you're in, but truly: it's BS. It's not even remotely scientific, psychics cold read (I recommend looking up the Penn & Teller bit on it, etc. You don't have to worry.

I wouldn't go by what a psychic told you, I understand the need to want to know but really they don't know. That's all I can say

I agree with the others. A psychic i was seeing was adamant on more than one occasion that this baby will be a girl however its ds5. I even felt like it would be too (maybe it was the feeling from the psychic building my own expectation aswell). She did predict ds4 would be a boy though.

I did see a psychic in relation to trying again and what i may expect and she seems to think the next would be a boy also and really doesn't see a girl until '7'.

I have to say im ignoring all aspects of it and if i was to try again its following the tips here and giving a good attempt at it and that would be it for me. Not sure if i have hubby on board but he jokes about no6 all the time so im half way there 😁😁

Also i felt pressured to be taking relatives to ultrasounds and people asking what this one is. If i had another i would totally be keeping it a secret til i could no longer and definitely not telling anyone the sex.

I don't believe in psychics - one told me DS 2 was a girl and I've seen gobs of them be wrong on the swaying sites.

When I read what she wrote (it was an online reading) I was like...no. Hahha! I actually DO believe in psychics, but, only myself. I mean, my own psychic ability. I guess I wouldn't be on a site like this if I thought 100% that I would have a girl, but, I feel like being led to this site and doing what I think is scientifically proven to sway a girl, will give me a girl. I have seen it in my future, for myself for quite some time.

Although, when I was younger, I never wanted a girl. I wanted to be a boy mom all the way. It was because I was afraid to be a mom to a girl because I feel it comes with great responsibility. It does. And I think that I am up for that at this point in my life! Haha!

I had about 7 psychics tell me my ds2 would be a girl. Even while pregnant with him i saw them in person and was told by one that she is 90 percent right on gender....

Lest anyone think I dismiss out of hand I have had spooky experiences with things like randomly thinking of really weird songs (like 99 Luftballoons, as an example) and then having them come onto the radio shortly after and my son and I thinking the same thing at the same moment (I can often predict that he's about to call me within a few minutes of him calling me, or starting to call him and the phone will ring in my hand, ) But I just cannot believe that a psychic can predict via the Internet people's future babies by talking to spirits. Just don't buy it.

Oh and I wasn't sure about having a girl either when I was younger. I really wanted a boy for my first not for my husband's sake or anything, I just felt I conected better with men than women. I was overjoyed to have two boys. I remember even seeing that dreaded "there's a special place in heaven for a mom of 4 boys" sign and thinking how special that would be (little did I know I would someday OWN that sign.) I'm just greedy and wanted a girl too, and just like you hinted at, I could very nearly see her in my mind.
