Lightbulb Nose to the grindstone this time! CD1 and beyond...

Okay, time to start over. Today is CD1 and I知 going to sway harder this time around.

    1. 60 minutes indoor cycling each morning, probably no less than 10 MPH (if I can hang that long)

    2. Zoloft, folic acid, fiber, skipping breakfast til 12:30
    a. Is instant coffee with some cream okay to perk me up in the morning? Is there a ratio of coffee to cream I should follow? I do like it on the sweeter side. How much coffee can you have in oz. before getting BFP?

    3. Crystal Light (blech, lol), soup and plain popcorn for lunch during the work week. I値l try to keep it light on the weekends too.

    4. Going to try to keep dinners LE as I can. Alcohol with dinner (yesssss, lol). Can it be hard cider or a malt beverage? I知 not a huge wine drinker.

    5. DTD every 4 days after AF starts (hopefully by Thursday or Friday it will be light enough or gone so we can start). Tracking with OPK and CM changes.
    a. If I get a basal body thermometer, when should I start charting, today?
    b. RE: Cetirizine, do you stop when you get pos. OPK, even though it might be a couple days before O?

Whaddya think? Is there something in particular you致e found that statistically sways hard for a girl other than the above? Any good tips to up odds of conception too?

    Thanks!!!

I think how much coffee you can have is more a question of how much you're comfortable with. I don't limit myself until we're sharing blood supply, and I'm actually having way more as an intentional sway than I usually would. Technically I think you should skip cream and sugar, to avoid anything with calories or that could increase your blood sugar. I do mine with artificial sweetener and sometimes a touch of low fat milk.

I wouldn't take the fiber in the morning- take it before meals.

I haven't seen anything to suggest that any kind of alcohol is better than others, just make sure to work it into your daily totals.

I've only ever taken antihistamines right before an attempt, not all the time.

If you're starting BBT, start charting tomorrow morning.

How many cycles have you been TTC? I wouldn't personally worry about upping odds of conception if it hasn't been very long. If it has, you could think about changing BD patterns, dropping any frequency patterns DH is doing, or dropping the antihistamine.

    Thanks everyone!

Foxtrot, it’s cycle #2 for TTC, so every 4 days will do if that’s the case. What antihistamine do you take and how early before an attempt? If I’m doing every 4 days, should I take an antihistamine in prep for each time, or for the one closest to O day? Thanks!

2a) Coffee with cream in the morning is fine, it's best to have only low/no calorie sweeteners so if it has sugar in it, better to find unsweetened. I'd use just enough cream to make it edible. How much is at your discretion, some say 2 cups during pregnancy, most of us had 3 at least for swaying (I think I had way more than that!

3)that sounds horrible LOL!!! I'd toss in a yogurt for sanity

    4)Whichever you prefer.

5a)I'd wait till AF is here, otherwise you'll just toss those temps anyway.

b)Yes I like you guys to stop at pos OPK just to be sure that egg has enough fluid to survive

If you're nursing you should only take ONE cetirizine the day of pos OPK. If not nursing you can take starting 4-5 days before you expect to have attempt and then stop at pos OPK or day before O whichever comes first
