Will a yeast infection negatively affect a blue sway or will it be okay as long as I get it cleared up right away? My attempt is 2 weeks away..

We had a blue swayer, LSLM have one and hers cleared up and she was fine! We didn't conceive that cycle, but Atomic said we don't know if it sways. I thought I was getting one but didn't. I'm really wondering if the HE diet makes us more prone to them bc I usually don't have problems with YI.

We don't know if it sways (I doubt it but don't have data to say) you are plenty far out from attempt now and so I'd treat it and try when O comes.

Thank you both! Also, I read online that organic coconut oil is more "friendly" than the monistat because it fights only the fungus and bad bacteria, where as monistat fights off good, bad, everything. Since I had some on hand I decided to give it a try and I literally felt relief immediately! I probably should have gotten opinions prior, but i was just wondering has anyone else tried this? Does it really clear up yeast infections just like that?? I mean, I seriously get them all the time and no home remedies have ever worked for me. Even monistat and prescriptions sometimes require double treatment for me. I just can't believe this!

Any time you change what is going on in the VJ you can kinda "help out" the good guys and then they get a leg up on the bad guys. This type of thing usually works only for mild YI and not the really bad ones though.
As a general rule I do not recommend using oil, I got the WORST YI of my life using coconut oil as lube (plus, when you're coming up on your attempt, sperm cannot swim through oil and I do not recommend it at all ever for blue swayers!! You're far enough out now so it won't matter but for future reference)
I have had some success using unsweetened yogurt with the natural cultures in it as a YI cream. Doesn't work every time, but for the mild ones it really helps.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Oh my gosh, okay this is good to know! I think I did nip mine in the butt at the first signs. I get them often enough that I can tell when one is coming on.. I only used a very tiny bit and af arrived a few hours later so I hope all is good now.. next time I think I'll just go with the monistat though. Thank you, Atomic!

Oh great!! AF is also a cure all for YI believe it or not. It is VERY common to get YI in the LP that is cured by the arrival of AF so that may be something to keep in mind for next time (hopefully there won't BE a next time though)

Oh cool! Had I known that I probably would have just waited to see if it went away on its own because I knew I was expecting af in the next couple days.
