Comments regarding DW's diet changes-

Before starting the HE diet,I always skipped breakfast and would stay without eating for longer duration. I totally changed my eating habits. Ate breakfast everyday and my go to breakfast was overnight oats.I started drinking whole milk.Ate nuts in between meals.Red meat or Chicken 3-4 times a week.I drank banana,spinach,dates and coconut milk smoothie which is delicious and healthy. Our food is mostly salty and spicy and includes Potatoes(A few times in a week).I couldn't drink lemon water but tried to include a few glasses close to Ovulation.I avoided eating sugary food.Made healthy lifestyle changes and tried to eat before getting too hungry.

4-5 months.

We eat home cooked vegetables with wheat bread. Our diet includes eating White rice atleast once a week.I cook all the lentils,beans and curries at home.

Any Diet Comments/Additional Info?

We increased our meat intake and switched to full fat milk.I drink tea with Milk.Never was a coffee drinker anyway.

I have always been overweight and may have gained 5-8 pounds while I was on the HE diet.

This is the one thing that I couldn't do but tried to whenever I could in any way.

I was always scared to do unprotected bd before positive Ovulation test.I used ebay cheapies and Clearblue digital to keep track of my Ovulation for months.A lot of my friends got their boys by having sex close to Ovulation and I guess a part of me was also hung up on the Shettles method even though I know its been dubunked. I am just trying to mention every detail I can. So we did bd every few days before Ovulation but always protected. Then I would have dh not release day before Positive O test.Once I got the Solid smiley face, we would bd that night the next morning and night and the night after that which was almost impossible for us.
So,from cycle 2 we decided to bd every night after Positive O test. And we waited for atleast 10 hours after the solid smiley face to have our first attempt because I always got pos O test with fmu and we could only bd at night.

Any relevant attempt details?

We got our bfp in the 3rd cycle of ttc. I almost thought of skipping that month but didn't n I was sure it won't happen that soon for me because it took time for us to get a bfp with our first. I was more relaxed that cycle.I took Mucinex tablets all 3 cycles starting from cd 12 till O. I remember having one beer before two of those 3 attempts to lighten things a little.
We did doggy style and then I would carefully turn after 10-15 min on my back and keep my legs elevated and had big O after each of those 3 attempts. We bd 10 hours after Positive O test,the next night and couldn't bd the 3rd night but for some reason i didn't have a temp spike the next morning like I was expecting it so we did have our 3rd attempt that night and I got the temp rise the next morning. Hope I m not confusing anyone.

Things that make me feel great about my sway:

I did almost everything I could do.I started taking my prenatals from Jan 1st and stopped drinking(never was a regular drinker anyway) Changing my diet.I was not confident if the sway would work because dh smokes and drinks. I just wanted to make sure that I tried.

Things that make me nervous about my sway:

DH's smoking and drinking. He did cut down on his drinks around O and attempt time. He takes a few drinks from Friday- Sunday.Our bd pattern. It was a risk I took since everyone here got their boys by bding eod unprotected. Dh wasn't regular in taking his supplements.

Things worth mentioning:

Mucinex helped a lot with CM. Charting with bbt was the best thing to do.I finally understood my body.
Overall, coming to this site of wonderful people was the best decision I ever took.
