Hi,
Are you allowed any drinks when you get up or nothing at all until lunch time (no food or drinks)?
Thanks.

Yes you can definitely have drinks - often a peppermint tea or raspberry leaf tea with sweetener takes the edge off.
Oxford study found that skipping breakfast sways, most likely because of low blood glucose

I am up at 5am and I will drink 2 cps of coffee with splenda a powdered creamer. I eat a yogurt at 10am.
If you choose to eat in the am maybe keep it lite. A slice of jelly (sugar-free) toast. Yogurt and a little fruit. Just no grain, sugar, fat, protien, or salty meals.
Look at the Food Threads to get ideas as to what people are eating.2007

There are opposites with every swaying strategy but overall we have found that skipping breakfast is something that a LOT of girl moms do while boy moms tend to be regular eaters. Also, the people who did the Oxford study believe that skipping breakfast = more girls. It's all about optimizing our chances, and skipping breakfast is one thing that can't hurt, may help, and is easy for people to include.
Most people are drinking something when they get up - coffee, tea, crystal light, etc. Also, you can chew sugarless gum if it helps. i prefer it if you DON'T drink milk drinks, because that is basically the same as eating.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
