Help me sway for a boy?

Hi ladies, I'm hoping to conceive in either August or September. After two girls we'd love for our last baby to be a boy. So far I've been on a "diet" in attempt to help alkalize my ph (it's been 10
    Days)

    1)Stopped drinking soda
2)eat breakfast (used to skip it)
    3) cut calcium other than some milk on my cereal
    4)Drink water all the time
5)Almost daily strawberry @ banana smoothies
    6) started fish oil & potassium supplements 3 days ago

My ph hasn't seemed to change yet, I'm cd 26 af is expected this weekend.
My dh semen ph is 9-10

Basically I'm looking For other things to try, I chart my bbt and will buy opks. As for when to bd I've heard 24 hours after positive test and then again the next day? Any insight or successful sway tips would be appreciated 🙂

Don't worry about pH. It doesn't sway and messing with it too much can hinder conceiving. For a boy sway, don't cut out dairy! Many of us boy moms eat lots of dairy (esp full fat) and success rates for blue drop when dairy isn't used. I'd skip the potassium supplements too unless that's something the doctor told you to take. There's a delicate balance of minerals in the body and messing with it can be bad for health. Taking a prenatal vitamin should suffice. Eating breakfast and cutting out soda sound good to me. Have you looked at the HE diet? We have great success for boys with it.

Agreed about skipping the pH stuff. It's so difficult to change, stressful to monitor, can hinder conception and resulted in many sway opposites in the past.

In terms of attempts blue swayers here are generally aiming for 3 attempts inside the fertile window. Most start these attempts the evening of the first +opk.

Definately check out the HE diet, it makes a lot of sense, unlike the many seemingly random sway tactics used by other sites which are based on debunked or poor scientific research.

The diet stuff doesn't really work with pH. Take it from a chick who got a boy with pH of 4.5, it's not worth the effort. http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gend...ph-pickle.html

Best thing you can do for pH is take guanefesin (in robitussin or Mucinex) starting about 5 days before O. Making more EWCM causes pH to rise and unlike all the baking soda concoctions, it boosts odds of conception.

DO NOT wait 24 hours after positive OPK to BD. By doing an attempt then, and then the following day (that second attempt would very likely be too late, egg would be dead) you will probably be in with one attempt which has had 70% or higher for girls for us. Please BD the night of positive OPK (day before O) again the next morning if you can (O Day) and again the following night (again, O day, so you'd do two attempts). That still holds with Shettles recommendations for blue and avoids the risk of potentially having only one attempt which has been sooo pink friendly for us.
