Do steroids (corticosteroids for asthma) sway pink or blue?

This is my first time posting after having baby boy #2, hi all! DH and I were planning to start TTC for baby#3 this month, swaying pink. I have been sick and have lost weight and I thought the timing would be perfect. However, I just received a prescription for prednisone yesterday and I'm on an inhaled steroid as well (Flovent) and I'm wondering if these sway blue. I will likely ovulate sometime early next week (or possibly this weekend) so I need to decide quickly whether or not we should wait. I just weaned from breastfeeding last month and my cycle still doesn't seem regular so I'd be fine waiting just so that I can track things better and work on adding other sway tactics. Let me know what you all think!

The unfortunate reality is that we don't know how these things sway. There is evidence pointing both ways and I honestly do not have the body of data I would need to be able to pin it down. I will say that anything you're on for only a week is very unlikely to do much if anything for swyaing so I'd absolutely still go for it, because being sick DOES seem to sway pink and having just stopped breastfeeding, that may still be working for you as well. Good luck and pink dust!

Thanks atomic. Those 2 things (sick and weaning last month) are really the only 2 things I have going for my sway though. I haven't been committed to the diet just yet because we weren't planning to ttc this early. And my luteal phase is really short right now (and I ovulate late), usually that adjusts a little more as I have more cycles after breastfeeding. So anyways, not sure if I should try to perfect the sway a little more or just go for it. My youngest might decide for me though because he won't sleep long enough for us to BD (he's sick too)!

Ah, in that case I'd hold off. Diet and exercise are best tactics and I'd never have someone rush a sway to capitalize on anything unless those two things are in order already. Hope you're feeling better soon.
