I have a couple of questions that I feel like are kind of stupid asking about, but none the less I've been wondering about them quite a bit!
One is personal to my own situation, prior to starting the sway (about a month ago) I was on a sort of crash diet(wasn't on it for too long) I wasn't starving myself but would only get up to about 1,000-1100 calories a day. Recently I've upped my calorie intake to 1400-1500 calories a day, would this be considered improved conditions? Since I've added about 400 calories to my diet?
Second question is, has anyone ever swayed for a certain gender and got girl/boy twins?
I read somewhere that vegans tend to have higher testosterone level then people that are not vegan, what is the reasoning behind this? If I'm vegetarian will I inadvertently be raising my testosterone and end up swaying boy, even though we are ttc a girl?
This question I have asked in one of my other posts, while ttc, is having 5 small meals a day (as long as you stay within limits) bad for your sway? Or is anything within limits not a cheat?

It doesn't matter, you have to eat more because that is the minimum amount for a healthy pregnancy. We have speculated that it could be interpreted as improved condition, but at the same time, plenty of people have had to increase calories and still gotten girls doing that so I wouldn't worry.
Testosterone has never been proven to sway. Additionally, that is based on ONE study and it was done in men. Additionally, additionally, a high carb diet (like some vegans eat) can make testosterone go up - this is the same phenomenon that causes PCOS. Additionally x 3, we have lots of other studies that show higher intake of plant foods adn vegetable based proteins and fats sways pink. So since testosterone has never been proven to sway anyway, I'd do what has worked for most people most of the time and not get too hung up on totally unproven theories.
I think I spotted and answered your other question already, let me know if I didn't.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Thank you for all of your input atomic! I've actually been debating becoming vegan when I was seeing that a lot of vegan mothers had all boys, so I was curious as to if being vegan swayed more boy! I was also reading on someone else's thread on here that almond milk could sway girl, do you have any input on coconut milk?
Thank you again, you did answer all of my questions! Thank you for taking the time to do so I do really appreciate it!

Many have noted a trend that direction. Aside from the PCO angle, I personally believe it is because vegans are very very very into eating healthy and nutritious foods and very few of them are like the "teenage girl" vegan where they exist on carrot sticks and jelly beans. Vegans also tend to be outrageously in control of every aspect of their environment which is a personality trait I find associated overwhelmingly with mothers of boys.
I do believe coconut milk replacers also likely sway pink but haven't seen enough (any?) people getting girls with blue sways while drinking them. The almond milk, however, has been a definite thing.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

I've been trying very hard to not be too strict with my sway. I'm generally a very hands on and not so much controlling of things but kind of too strict on myself. Otherwise I completely blow my diet out of hand (as I did today and was well into blue territory)
Up until I started to sway my lifestyle was becoming very girl friendly but I was way under in calories. I'm hoping to find a happy medium.
I'm a huge almond milk and coconut milk drinkers so here's to hoping that helps in my case!

We all have those off days, the best way to deal with them is NOT to try and make up for them by starving yourself the next day or week (because that sets up a bad cycle where you are binging and then starving and then binging again) but just to say "oh well" and then start up again with a normal diet the next day.
