Is OLE a huge sway factor, I keep seeing it pop up and never thought to ask!
I feel like it’s probably too late for DH to start taking as we are having our first attempt in about 2 weeks!

OLE is getting 70% success right now (41 of 58 sways). I've seen Atomic recommending it more over LR which has a poor 34% success rate.

I wish I had asked sooner! I would have DH take it! That is a pretty good number!

I agree but we have to remember it's still a somewhat small sample size and we also have to take into consideration what else they had going on with their sways. I'm not doubting it's success, I just don't want you to think it's a magic potion for getting a girl. I will say I do wish my DH would have taken OLE instead of LR but it was still newish for swaying at the time. Most people were using it for HT.

Re OLE - I am not at all convinced OLE does anything. I think it may be a red herring in the statistics (since only older men and those with sperm health issues take it, and they are the most likely to have girls) and I am really, really not sold on it.
It's fine if you want to use it, but please understand that LE is in lieu of CRANBERRY, not licorice.
It's licorice OR peppermint tea
and
cranberry OR OLE.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

I'm TOTALLY doubting its success. I really am extremely skeptical of the number.
Also OLE is not a replacement for LR, it's a replacement for cranberry. With 58 people sample size, it wouldn't take but a handful of lucky OLE results (or because the people who I have use OLE - older men, those with poor sperm health - are more likely to have daughters anyway) to skew the results higher than they really are.
NO one should feel bad about their sway because they didn't use OLE.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

As far in advance of the sway as is feasible. 500-1000 mg dry leaf or use liquid (and follow guidelines on the bottle if you do liquid) starting right away, continue till BFP, and then have him gradually wean off by spacing doses further and further out till down to one per week and hten you can drop them. Don't quit cold turkey

Totally forgot DH was on cranberry, not LR! I don't know why but I keep getting those two mixed up.
You make a good point about mostly older men using the OLE. I'm beginning to wonder if it's even beneficial at all for husbands to take any supplements for pink sways?'12

I'm not even sure it's beneficial for ANYONE to take supplements for pink sways!
I am always willing to keep stuff in the mix for those who want it and I personally believe the vitex did something helpful for my pink sway. But I was on it for 6 months and I was one of the lucky people who didn't find it messed up their ovulation.
I also suspect the soy milk for DH (in the guys who really do it diligently) may do something. But again, it always comes at a cost to fertility overall.
I don't know. This is one of the arenas where what we do here really can't help us know if this stuff is swaying or not. This is where we need the blind studies in people doing nothing else to sway. Because all our results are flummoxed up with the fertility angle of it - the people who can actually get pregnant doing all this stuff may be highly fertile and thus the most set for blue so this may skew our results to make things that are actually swaying look like they aren't; and also the personality
factor - the people who are the most motivated to do all the sway tactics may be coming into this more set for blue anyway.
Both of these things could possibly add up into making it appear that things that are dropped from the sway early are not swaying when in fact they are...but they can't be swaying by MUCH or we'd see results that were at least the overall results of the site. I so wish we had the resources to test each and every one of these supps in the proper way - blind study with control groups!!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
