I知 on the alternate LE diet and am hitting 50-60g fat and 50-60g protein. But because I知 doing quite low cal most of my calories are coming from fat (about 50% instead of the recommended 30). Here are my figures for today as an example:
Carbs 73g (27%)
Fat 60g (51%)
Protein 59g (22%)
I just want to check that I知 on the right track in terms of getting my limits right. Am aiming for low carb because of the PCOS element but wondered if I知 now too high in the fat/protein stakes.
Really appreciate all the advice I知 getting so thank you.
On another note I知 taking cinnamon before lunch and fibre before dinner but no other supps.

Hi! I don't know about the importance of fat in swaying, but for general conception a high fat diet is good for PCOS, especially if it is healthy fat and is still low calorie in addition to high fat. I have PCOS and the cycle I got pregnant I was eating a lot of avocado, nuts, olive oil and whole milk. That was also the first cycle I used Clomid though. So I don't know whether the deciding factor was Clomid alone or combination of Clomid + diet.

I wouldn't get caught up in percentages, just stick with the recommended 60g of fat. You don't need to keep carbs crazy low. It's just with the PCOS diet by eating 50-60g protein and 60g of fat, it's already lowering your carb intake by default. How many calories are you eating?

That's fine but I just want to be sure you're not counting the fat and protein in fruits and veg because they are free for protein and fat. And low carb veg are free for everything, you don't even count calories for those.
