Urin Ph early pregnancy

I was reading that it’s possible to indicate which gender you are pregnant with if you dip a ph stick in your urin and it if it’s low you are pregnant with a girl and if it’s high you are pregnant with a boy. I am assuming this is a OWT. I sure hope it’s not right since mine was very low and we want a boy.

No, it's totally an old wives' tale! All it measures is the pH of the last thing you drank!! I know of people who tested the principle and tested urine pH before and after eating or drinking foods and they got a "girl" result sometimes and a "boy" result sometimes. Doesn't work at all!

And all the cabbage, baking soda, Drano tests are ALL pH based and also do not work at all.
