Just trying to understand the whole skip breakfast..does that mean coffee too?

I cut breakfast and consider coffee my breakfast and have my regular amount of cups

No as I understood it coffee is fine anytime either black or with a dash of milk.
If you like to have a more Café Latte type with much milk then you have to consider it as a meal and rather drink it together with food.

You can have coffee in the morning with creamer (any kind as long as it's not sweetened with sugar) of some kind and either no sweetener or artificial sweetener.
