Is this correct?

Frequent release means less sperm for when you attempt = girl
Frequent DTD means more sperm waiting in the crypts = boy ?

frequent DTD means higher pH, increased fertile CM, and probably higher testosterone too... plus higher total sperm numbers up in the fallopian tubes waiting for the egg, so probably = blue

I do agree with rainbow - however if you make sure you've done your 7 days of frequent before your fertile period (which may or may not be possible depending on when you ovulate and which may involve some releasing during AF if you don't want to DTD then!) then sperm numbers would already be depleted once you get to the time frame when you could actually get pregnant - and then you may need to DTD more than once to even get pregnant. That's quite complicated though, frequent release seems easier if DH is up for it!

amari - avoiding DTD - even if you don't O when you DTD you will get more CM produced as you get aroused

It depends. Frequent release (meaning 7-10 ejaculations or more in a 7-10 day period with a minimum of one ejaculation a day and hopefully more) with one attempt for sure sways pink. Frequent BD with release inside may actually also sway pink, because the earliest ejaculations will be long gone before the egg is ready (all sperm will die) and by the time ovulation occurs, the sperm numbers may be so depleted that it sways pink regardless of any increase in pH from the semen. So it may be by the time that O rolls around, so few sperm are coming out in the ejaculate that the numbers of sperm in the crypts, really aren't that high.

FWIW, Dr. Shettles believed frequent BD through O swayed pink (then again, in a lot of ways Dr. Shettles is a nincompoop .)

Also, never forget that if a pink swayer were doing a lot of other things to sway like antihistamines, jellies, jump and dump, less sperm will survive anyway, so even if a frequent BD did end up causing more sperm to be deposited in the VJ than frequent release with one attempt, less of those sperm are going to survive. The exact opposite is true for blue swayers BTW - since they are doing things that help sperm survive (like increasing pH and EWCM) even if their BD pattern is less than optimal (ie having to have 2-3 attempts back to back), more sperm is going to survive and the numbers will be higher because of that.

The best frequency pattern for blue is DTD every 2-4 days and then for timing, to try and fit in 2 attempts in the fertile window (so 0-2 and 0, or O-1 and O day). Some people might even want to try for 3 attempts (o-2, o-1, o day.)

It's all a big balancing act and in the end you have to do what you feel is right in your gut.

Male testosterone levels and sperm numbers do increase when they actually have intercourse as opposed to cleaning the pipes by themselves.

That having been said, you have to do what your husband will go for and some people's husbands just WON'T do that. It's not a sway killer and no one should panic if their DH would prefer to DTD using a condom.

You also have the option of DTD earlier in your cycle with a spermicide condom and then switch to regular BD - teh spermicide residue may have some benefit for pink.

My dh and I have a few more questions in regards to this topic. When it comes to testosterone levels for dh, sorry for tmi, but does me doing a bj or hand job raise it compared to him doing it himself? Also, what if he uses porn himself? I'm going to start the provera soon so we're starting to finalize our plans! Thanks!

amari - if you're swaying girl then I think so long as you've done what needs to be done to lower sperm count then that's the main thing. If he can do it himself then imo that's probably better because it won't raise YOUR testosterone. DH dealt with himself a lot but we did a combination of things because it was a lot to expect of him.
