I'm planning to ttc a baby boy which will be my last baby in december. Here's my plan. Please your input will be highly appreciated.
I already started a boy friendly diet- green tea, lemon/lime water, a lot of meat, chicken, potatoes, cabbage, oatmeal, sausage, banana, v8 drink etc
for supplements, i plan to take-
epo 1000mg 3 times a day af-o
folic acid 2400mcg everyday af-o
fish oil, 1000mg 2 imes a day af-o
robitussin 400mg af- 3 days after o
l-arginine 500mg everyday af-o
soy- not sure on how to take this
gelatin 1 pkt 3 times daily af-o
bs drink af-o
plan to abstain 3 days before o and bd 24-36 after +opk
dh will drink coffee an hour before attempt.
will do bf an hour before attempt
so what do u think, sounds like a good plan, is there anything missing?

I was under the impression that you would take Soy Isoflavones to help you O if you have trouble like Clomid kind of, so like you take it like CD 3-7, in a similar dose 100mg-ish supposed to sway blue
I am trying to put together my sway too...kinda nervous. But yours looks Great! GL, FX, blue dust to you !

Be careful with the l-arginine, I used it last cycle and it dried me up.
I usually get 2-3days of EWCM but last month on the l-arg I only had 1-2hrs of EWCM

Hi kobytoby, i am also going to ttc a boy in December. I am practically on the same diet as you, however i have decided to not cut out calcim completely, i still have full fat milk on oats in coffee and some cheese. I take most of the same supplements too, only ones i also take that i dont see on your list are Vit D, wheatgrass, brewers yeast, flaxseed oil and a prenatal called elivit. I did start on L-arg, but it really messed with my cycle so now only DP takes that. Your timing looks good, are you only going to do a 1 shot wonder? I will probably do the o-2 + o... not completely sure yet. Also with my sway i have looked at ions and decided that i will burn incense everyday from af - o, i thought it cant hurt to try and i quite like the smell. They say lifting weights is also good to do for boys, but i must admit i am a bit lazy there, i do some calf raises, sit ups and push ups occasionally, maybe i will do more leading up to Dec. Anyway i am really excited for you and i really look forward to hearing how your attempt goes, any idea when O is for you in Dec? Mine is around the 25th-30th.

I was going to do 1 time only BUT I got my boy from DTD a few times in one day so wanted to try that but a few people said that isn't a good idea for boys cause it lowers sperm count.
I'm confused I don't know what I want to do now.

Do you know exactly after +opk you ov?? Only be careful your not bd#ing after your cm has changed back to creamy, for me this is girl zone
How many days of +opk do you get? If only one, then I would go for it then

Wow! you sure are taking a lot more supplements than I am. Planned on cutting calcium out but just wasnt able to. what exaclty did L-arginine do to your cycle, lengthen ovulation time? Might consider cutting it out if it will have a strong effect on my cycle. I'm like you too, too lazy to lift weights. I've been so busy lately I havent even been getting any exercise in at all. O for me should be around dec 8-12 but dont know if the supplements would affect the O time. How does o-2 work? i thought of just bding once this cycle and if it doesnt work then go to plan b (dont know what it is now though)
