    Bread

So what’s the most update “verdict” on whole wheat breads recently? I tried to find an article on here that I read on bread once upon a time, I just can’t seem to find it. Are whole wheats still okay? Most recently I’ve been eating as a third meal in the evening Swiss cheese on whole wheat pita breads and a snack or two straight after and count it all as a meal since I eat very low and healthy for my meals during the day. It recently occurred to me maybe I should have switched to quite a long time ago (I always buy whole wheat bread). Any input on if what I’m doing is okay? My lunch tends to be on whole wheat bread (pita or loaf) as well so I don’t know if I’m overdoing it.

White vs. wheat is a gray area. We started off thinking white would be better for girls but that has not seemed to necesarily be the case - many people with insulin resistance, PCOS, a fair amount of weight to lose, and who are late 30's and beyond absolutley see better outcome with whole grains, and we don't know if others would as well. So I am fine with whoever wants to do whole grain, doing so, even if they don't fall into those categories.

Great thank you Atomic. I do have another question off topic from this. So sorry for all my questions! I’m feeling my diet and appetite are so much different (definitely feeling so much hungrier) so new questions occur to me. My question. Is, my caffeine intake has changed lately, I drink up to 3 large cups a day (between 8-12 oz) Sometimes each cup will come within three sometimes just two hours of the other. I take sugar (maybe a teaspoon full sometimes less) and a tablespoon, or a little more than a tbsp of cream (full fat 18% coffee cream) I’ve come to realize maybe this is not ideal for pink sway. Not just the sugar and creamer. I know creamer is ok for pink, but I’m wondering about that amount of creamer and sugar as well as drinking the cups of coffee that close in time to eachother, I feel like having the 3 cups that close in time which I tend to drink slowly sometimes maybe leaving my body no time in between to “empty” per say. Because then having my 2 daily meals. If that makes sense. Could you give me your insight on this?

I prefer that if you're having sugar you have the coffee with a meal. Yes, you're right having sugary stuff several times over the course of the day does act kind of as a meal.

But it's fine to have the coffee with just the cream and artificial sweetener.

Oh my Goodness this makes me sad. I feel like I’ve ruined my sway and was planning my attempt in two weeks. I wish I asked this weeks ago, I thought sugar was okay but I think it was said it’s ok just to have a cheat coffee with sugar in the morning...not sure what to think now about my sway...I’ll start Splenda tomorrow, although I don’t expect it to do anything at all in two weeks...

It is best not to have sugar in the morning either.

Sugar is ok, it's just ok WITH meals. That's all. bEtween meals, unsweetened, artificially sweetened, very low or no cal stuff only. The cream is ok becuase it doesn't raise blood sugar.

I personally chose to have sugar in my coffee in the morning as a cheat. I knew already I could do everything and still get a boy and no sugar in coffee sapped my will to live, so I was willing to take the gamble and ahve the morning sugar. I still got a girl. But I don't think it is best chances and I don't recommend it for anyone other than those who like me, understand it may sway blue but want to do it anyway.

We don't know how blood sugar works, it's entirely possible that 2 weeks is enough time for that so I'd still proceed with trying.
