I'm pretty sure that I'm crazy but yesterday I had m/c #2 since Sept and all I can think about is trying again. I guess that I'm stubborn. Or stupid. ANYWAY! After my m/c in September Atomic said that the 1st cycle after a m/c sways pink. So I would love to start ttc with this cycle. I would immediately start the diet and supplements. I would wait and do baby aspirin after I'm doing bleeding, but I do plan on doing baby aspirin. After my last m/c my ph was in the high 3's to low 4's at ovulation so I'm hoping that happens again. I would do saw palmetto and possibly vitex (although I have a question about it) until I o. I would definitely do folic acid. I would take fiber. And do the LE and vegetarian diet. As for our attempt I'm thinking frequent release, rephresh, j&d and multiple attempts around O. I'm not concerned with timing. I also have a few questions....
1. How strongly does the 1st cycle after a loss sway? So many people seem to have success with the diet and supplements and it makes me nervous to jump in without doing that first. But if a m/c strongly sways pink then it makes sense to give it a shot.
2. Also, how many cycles after a m/c sway pink? Is it only the 1st one? Is it the 1st cycle no matter what or the 1st cycle that you ovulate? I'm just trying to figure out how hard to sway. I don't want to reduce my odds too much if it's only the 1st cycle.
3. Possibly a touchy question but.... Do you all think that I'm setting myself up for another loss? All of my losses are assumed to be chromosomal. We haven't done any testing so there's no way to know for sure. But my doctor says that because we have 3 healthy kids, we more than likely don't have any real problems going on. It's probably just bad luck. Logically it would make sense to wait a few cycles and give my body a break and let it clean itself out but I'd love to be pregnant again asap so I'm torn on what to do. My doctor suggests waiting for one normal cycle before ttc but I wonder if that's for dating purposes or if there's evidence that immediately getting pregnant again increases the odds for another loss.
4. What's more beneficial to a girl sway, vitex or o'ing in a new moon? Assuming my cycle isn't late and it goes right back to normal, I'll o the day after the new moon. But I know that vitex can delay o so I'm wondering what's better for this cycle? Any chance that this hurts the sperm?
5. With our last cycle we did frequent release but we always used dh's 2nd batch. So sorry if tmi but he would take care of himself first and then after that, once he was ready, we would dtd. Should we do this again or ditch it? We got pregnant doing it last time but maybe it's overkill?
5. Is there anything that I should do to increase the odds of a healthy baby? A successful pregnancy is the ultimate goal. If there's anything that you would add or drop to (hopefully) help the next baby stick I would love to hear it! Especially if it sways pink![]()

I'm so sorry to hear you've had another m/c
I'm sure it was just really bad luck and it won't happen again.
Here is something that might help http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gend...scarriage.html
I think only 1st cycle after m/c sways pink strongly.
About making sure your next baby sticks: Imho, FA and maybe Prenatals should be enough? Also maybe check progesterone levelsm/c 2001

so sorry for your loss
1- probably pink quite a bit because your hormones are all over the place and it affects your fertility. AFAIK there are no statistics on this, though. My only thought is that some say that you're more fertile after a MC which would sway blue, but your body would definitely not be normal during that time so not sure.
2- I read somewhere that it's 6 weeks, but really it would be for as long as your cycles are being disrupted by the recent MC
3- After 3 MCs, you'd be entitled to tests if you lived over here in the UK. I don't think there's any harm in asking for tests to put your mind at rest? After my MC I did quite a bit of research about when it was safe to TTC, and general concensus seemed to be it was fine after you had a negative HPT and had stopped bleeding... will you be having a scan to check for retained tissue? how far along were you? mostly it's for dating purposes, but also your body can have a good clearout with the first AF and some women need a bit of time to grieve and/or give their bodies a rest. You know your own mind and body and if you feel ready or not.
4- vitex can only delay it if your cycles are regular, if hormones are out of balance (as they are after a MC) it can actually bring OV forwards. I'd say if you're doing other ion things, the vitex might not do much harm. Personally I'd wait for the first AF before starting it just to give your body a chance to settle on it's own... I know Mocha started vitex straight away after her MC, perhaps she can share her experience.
5- I'm taking fish oil supplements to improve my uterine lining (making implantation easier and less chance of chemical caused by difficult implantation) and it also can improve egg quality too which again I think will help reduce chances of MC. I know it has some blue side effects such as it can increase CM (I haven't experienced this at all) and it can raise pH a bit but I'll be using RepHresh anyway so not worried about that. I know it's not traditionally recommended for most pink swayers, but I think it is going to be best for me to take it.

Hiya, sorry for your loss, I miscarried at almost 13 weeks and for a week didn't want to get pregnant again at all as it was a hard time physically, emotionally and looking after ds1. Then a week later I wanted to get straight back in, ovulation was earlier for me but it didn't work 1st cycle, but we did get pregnant 2nd cycle with ds2, the only problem I found was that I had some spotting which may or may not have happenned if I had have waited an extra cycle until all spotting had stopped - but we now have a healthy bonny ds2 so glad we took the chance to try again and it ended happily :-) hope you find the info you need and good luck x

Hi, Iīm sorry for your loss.
I completely understand that you want to get pregnant asap again, thatīs how I felt too.
Like Chocolate, I conceived Ds2 2nd cycle after a loss (at 9 weeks), his pregnancy was without problems. I was on a boy friendly diet by the way.
Were you on LE diet before getting pregnant and for how long? If you were on it for a long time and off for just a couple of weeks I think your body might think times are still hard if you get back on it right away so you wouldnīt have to worry you didnīt do full 6 weeks or more.
I would def. continue to use DHīs second batch, it got you pregnant! Itīs a great way to sway pink I think.
If mine would be able to do that I wouldnīt worry that much Iīd taken supps and did diet for a couple of weeks only.
About increasing the odds of a healthy baby, after 4 cycles of bfn I reduced the amount of aspartame and used a warm pad on my belly every evening to help with the lining, I donīt know of course if these two things helped.
Good luck, hope youīll be pregnant with a pink bean soon.

Thanks so much for the link! I haven't read that thread before but I'm glad I did. Lots of good info! We will definitely check my progesterone levels whenever we get a bfp again. It was actually fine at the begining of this pregnancy but it just wasn't meant to be. I plan on taking as much FA as I can. I know that prenatals don't sway girl but at least right at first I'd like to take those too. Thanks again!

My doctor offered to do testing to find out if anything is causing the m/c's but I didn't want to do it. I really think that we've just been super unlucky. DH and I are young (25 and 27) and we have 3 healthy kids. If we have more losses in the future I will probably change my mind, but for now I'm ok. I have an appointment in 2 weeks to get checked out and make sure that everything has passed. I was 8w6d when I miscarried but the pregnancy only measured 6 weeks. So it was still pretty tiny. Mentally I think I'm ready to go. I probably have the worst logic of any woman to go through this, but I'm not afraid of another loss. I'd like to avoid it if I can but I know that if it happens again, I can live through it and move on. Hopefully I won't have to, but I feel like I can handle it if I do.
I didn't think about vitex bringing O forwards. I'll have to do a little more research on it before I jump in.
The fish oil sounds like a great idea. I think I'll add that to the mix too.

Thanks! I wasn't on the le diet before I got pregnant. I had a oops pregnancy in August that we lost in Sept. We waited a cycle and then tried again and got pregnant on the 1st try. My diet is pretty boy friendly normally. Hopefully we'll get lucky and have a sticky little girl soon!
