UTI

I had a UTI after TTC and am in the TWW period, does this mean I might have swayed pink? I don't understand what the possibilities are so can someone help? I also used preseed.

Hopefully you concieved before you got the UTI, if you used URAL to treat the UTI that sways blue, but if you used cranberry supps or drink that sways pink. I wouldn't worry about the UTI itself swaying one way or another because UTI and conception happen in differant parts of the body.

thanks for the reply I actually got the uti 2 days later and didn't take any cranberry or sodium citrate because it said if you were pregnant on the box not to take it and I read somewhere cranberry juice doesn't cure it only prevents it, so I went straight onto antibiotics after a visit at the doctors on the 3 or 4th day, antibiotics are the only thing that clears it for me because of my immune system. I guess I just kind of got the notion that maybe UTI means girl and Thrush means boy, I don't know why.

No, you did exactly right. I agree 100% with Cinss, I don't think UTI sways in and of itself (unless of course you got very very ill from it) You prob. didn't even HAVE the UTI until after your attempt anyway!

I had a severe UTI at my first pregnancy appt and didn't even know it. It must have happened while ttc but I still had a successful sway. I think your sway is fine!

I will get a UTI if I don't pee after sex....maybe that is what it's from? I don't think it will affect you at all. If you are in the 2ww, I'd guzzle some cranberry juice!
